Although Ershi has great knowledge, he never uses it to manage fame and fortune. His teacher, Zhang Yu 1963, published a poem praising calligraphy in Hong Kong Ta Kung Pao, with the preface: "May everyone know that he is knowledgeable and knowledgeable." This is only for his calligraphy, and what calligraphy is for Gao Ershi is really a remaining question. Gao Ershi was generous in poetry and studied Tang and Song Dynasties, especially devoted to Jiangxi Poetry School in Song Dynasty. If his ancient style is mixed with the poems of Jiangxi philosophers, it will also stand out. However, the relationship between the poet and Gao Ershi is still only a remnant. Calling Gao Ershi a scholar, he finally found it difficult to do his best. As far as his magnum opus about the authenticity of the Preface to the Lanting Pavilion is concerned, the rich materials and detailed theories are beyond the reach of ordinary scholars. There are thousands of books in his home, none of which are for display. Coco, the youngest daughter who has lived beside him for a long time, understands her father's "diligence" best. She said, "My father's diligence is beyond description.". Admittedly, his knowledge is beyond description. Zhang said: "Ershi has made great progress in recent years and made many inventions." Scholars seldom invent. His inventions are often denied by famous artists, so he dares to deny Huai Su, Kang Youwei, Shen and Yu Youren. He dares to hide from others academically, and he also has a clear love-hate relationship in social life. Lin Sanzhi once compared him to Ruan Ji. Ruan Ji's blue eyes and white eyes reveal love and hate, but Ruan Ji also has a way to protect himself: "Don't hide your mouth." On the other hand, Gao Ershi knew well and never backed down. On the eve of the Cultural Revolution, Jiangsu Historical Society organized a discussion in Shi Kefa. At that time, commentators said that Shi Kefa was guilty of suppressing the peasant uprising, while Gao Ershi praised him as an anti-Qing national hero. Not appropriate. He is also very honest and frank in his daily life. For example, when A spoke ill of B to him, Gao Ershi asked, "Did you speak to B in person?" A said no naturally. So Gao Ershi said, "You should talk to B face to face. If you don't say it, I will say it for you. " So, until it is cute, it is really unique. His daughter Coco advised him many times: even if it is correct, don't say it all. He retorted, "No, you should say whatever you say. How can I put it in my stomach? " Because of this, he is very confident and hates hypocritical modesty. At a national book fair, a famous painter wrote to Gao Ershi, praising his calligraphy as "the highest in the audience". At that time, he was in hospital, and his son-in-law Yin took the letter. He read the letter and smiled: "Of course I am the first, why bother him to say so!" " When Zhang wrote Liu, he found many mistakes, so he picked out 200 articles and wrote 200 school chapters. Tian Mi asked his father, "Teacher Zhang is your teacher. How can you compile such a booklet?" He replied, "I love my teacher, and I love truth more." Therefore, he has a casual chapter saying that "the sage of grass will live all his life", and once hid a beautiful post at home, approving a cloud: "The second fitness is only one person behind the right army."
Gao Ershi regards poetry and books as his life, and he can't live without books for a day. During the Cultural Revolution, all his books were looted. He was shocked and angry and had a heart attack. Later, he wrote to Zhang many times, asking him to help him get back the books. He once said: I saw on TV that there are many books in Chairman Mao's house. Why can't I have books? The reason why I think the word scholar can't exhaust the outline of Gao Ershi's whole soul is precisely because he pursues the truth in all aspects (not just literature and art).
Gao Ershi named himself "Shufu Old Man", which means to stretch freely. It is the realm he yearns for all his life, and the laws of nature will never grow to the right place. /kloc-0 died of a heart attack in Nanjing in the spring of 977. He left many manuscripts for later generations to sort out, and Yin and Tian Mi often worked hard for them. Suddenly, one day, the couple sat on the ground sorting out a mountain of information about Gao Ershi. Suddenly, a book by Bird fell from Yin Shu's head. It turned out that Gao Ershi wrote the word "diligence" before his death. Maybe it's just an accident, the spirit of diligence is immortal, and encouraging future generations is not necessarily superstition.
