In 1992, he won the first prize in the "China Standardized Chinese Character Regular Script Competition".

In 1993, he won the first prize in the International "Sackler Cup" Calligraphy Competition.

In 1995, he won the first prize in the Beijing Garrison District Calligraphy Competition.

In 1998, he won the first prize in the Singapore International Calligraphy Competition.

In 1999, he won the title of "World Chinese Artist"

In 2000, he won the first prize in the calligraphy competition of the World Chinese Art Exhibition.

In 2001, he won the gold medal in the International Art Fair Calligraphy Competition.

In 2002, Liu Hua's calligraphy exhibition was held.

In 2003, he was invited to Japan for international exchanges.

In 2004, he won the gold medal in the Sino-Japanese Calligraphy Competition.

In 2005, he won the second prize in the National Electric Power Theme Calligraphy Exhibition.

In 2006, it was selected into the National Electric Power Masthead Collection Exhibition.

In 2007, he was selected into the National Electric Power Workers Calligraphy Exhibition.
