Historical allusions of Green Temple

This article is selected from Volume 3 of Lingling County Annals in the second year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty. Green Tian 'an Temple, located on Dongshan Mountain in Lingling District, Yongzhou City, is the place where the famous calligrapher Huai Su practiced calligraphy. There are still sites, such as Bizuka and Mo Chi. There are many poems left by later generations on the rocks inside and outside the nunnery.

Yongzhou is half a mile north from the East Gate and half a mile up the hill. It is the Green Temple, the former residence of Tang Priest Huai Su. The Huai Su nursery school, which was handed down from the world, was poor and had no paper. It planted more than 1, bananas for spreading, so it was named after it, but it was deserted. At the age of Guimao, a monk from Jiangyou visited its ruins in a kind month. Washing stones and planting bananas is very interesting.

the nunnery is facing east, and there are three small halls, which are very simple and clumsy. A statue of Pilufo is offered. There is a plaque on the front eaves, and the word "Ancient Green Temple" in the eight-point book is also the title of Liu Gongwei, the same yin. The first three rooms are semi-driving buildings, with windows looking east and dozens of miles in one eye. Xiao shui is like a belt, and the distant mountains are covered with greenery. It's really enjoyable to look around on the threshold.

The grotesque rocks behind the temple depend on each other. The word "Yanquan" is engraved on the stone, which is three inches big and beautiful, and I don't know what generation it was engraved. As the natives say, the old clear spring runs obliquely through the stone crib, making a tortuous bet, which is enough to make a gourd ladle and bowl. Today, there is no trickle.

several banana plants are planted in the crevices, and the flowers are shaded. There is a stone in the right corner of the temple, which is exactly round, two feet high and surrounded by it. There is an inscription on it, which is indelible and unrecognizable. It is also the top of the pen tomb in Huai Su. Yesterday, Huai Su retired his pen as a burial place, and later generations attached great importance to it, in order to repair stone pagodas. Today's tower has been abandoned, but the top is preserved, and the system is quite ancient, and it can also be traced back to the wind.

the nunnery gate is due north. Go out more than seventy steps, slightly west, for Mo Chi, according to legend, Huai Su inkstone washing place. Its pond is square and surrounded by stones. Its south is uplifted, and its east, west and north sides are slightly humble. It is two feet deep, seven or eight feet north and south, six or seven feet east and west, dry and waterless, and covered with grass. Although it is desolate, it is still in sight.

hehe! Huai Su, with a good cursive script, was named as Moving Atlas, and his voice spread in different generations. Those who have been to their land so far can't help themselves. A Mo Chi, a tomb, and cherish it, visit and repair it, lest it be inferior; Kuang Mingde is rich in industry, rich in time, stubborn and stubborn, and beneficial to the people's society! I remember it for the sake of future generations. [1] Liu Daozhu: The word Canyu was born in Gongsheng, Liaodong, Qing Dynasty (now Liaoyang, Liaoning Province).
