These two poems were written in 1763, when Zheng Banqiao, who was 7 1 year old, had left Weixian 10 years ago. Guo Lunsheng, a friend of Wei County, visited him in Jiangnan. He wrote two poems for Huailai Guo Lunsheng with sincere feelings. The information conveyed by Zheng Banqiao's two poems is more valuable than his calligraphy. Zheng Banqiao has deep feelings for Wei County. Here, there are people who love him, friends who like him, and kites flying like snow in spring.

Zheng Banqiao has a natural sympathy for the poor. This also made him stand on the shoulders of the Confucian thought of "attaching importance to the people", transcending tradition, and put forward his valuable thought of "agriculture is the first person" written in the fourth book of Remimo in Fanxian Department: "I think that there is the first person in the world, and only farmers and scholars are the last of the four." The bold proposal of this idea is not only against tradition, but also against the trend. He not only sympathized with the peasants ideologically, but also did more good things for them in practice, which was rare among feudal officials at that time.

After taking up his post in Weixian County, Zheng Banqiao wrote a poem in a painting called "A big bag, a big bag, a big bag". Some small officials in Caozhou County always care about their feelings. "This reflects the precious spirit of a local official who observes the sufferings of the people and listens to their voices.

When Zheng Banqiao was in Weixian, the craft level of "Weixian Kite" was close to the peak. Weifang kites became a commodity as early as the Ming Dynasty, and there was a considerable kite market in Qianlong and Jiaqing years in the Qing Dynasty. Pei Xingchuan, a native of Wei County in Qing Dynasty, wrote in his poem: "The kite market is on the east wall, and tourists are busy buying. Fancy renovation attracts customers, and butterflies and kites are in line. " Another person wrote a poem: "Outside the Dongcheng wall are Baisha (Bailang River Beach) and thirty kite shops. Selling New Year pictures in winter, selling New Year pictures in spring, all year round. " At that time, Weixian kites were not only sold to Yantai, Qingdao, Zibo, Jinan and other places, but also sold in large quantities.
