Description of grandpa writing calligraphy:
I had a lot of fun during this winter vacation! Every time I go to grandpa’s house, grandpa will teach me how to practice calligraphy. Grandpa's calligraphy is so fluid that you can't get enough of it.
Grandpa said that practicing calligraphy requires persistence, patience and seriousness. If you don’t practice it well, it won’t matter how many times you practice it. My grandfather’s teachings to me will always be remembered in my heart.
I practiced painting one stroke at a time. I would write whatever my grandfather wrote. When I was practicing calligraphy, I became my grandfather's "imitating machine." Grandpa wrote neatly and beautifully, but because I had just practiced calligraphy, I knew nothing about it and my writing was messy, but grandpa always encouraged me and taught me patiently
I also lost my temper when practicing calligraphy. Once, I practiced with my grandfather. My grandfather practiced for two hours, and I also practiced the same. Because of the time, I lost my patience. After practicing for so many days, I still can't write as well as my grandpa... As I thought about it, I got angry, threw the brush away, and said, "Humph, I won't practice anymore. After practicing for so long, it has no effect!" As I said this, I sat on the sofa.
After hearing this, my grandfather came over with a smile and said to me: "How can you write well if you don't practice calmly? Practicing calligraphy requires meditation. You can improve only when you calm down, understand?" After listening, I nodded thoughtfully... During the days when my grandfather taught me to practice calligraphy, I learned a lot and realized some things. Principle: When doing something, you must not only meditate, but also have patience and perseverance
