In the Ming Dynasty, there was a man named Wang Shuyuan, who was wonderful and exquisite in craftsmanship. He was able to carve palaces, utensils, figures, even birds, animals, trees and stones on a piece of wood with a diameter of one inch, all of which were carved into images (of various things) just like the original materials, and each had its own look and attitude. He once gave me a boat carved with peach stones, and it was Su Shi's visit to Chibi.
The boat is a little over eight minutes long from beginning to end, about two yellow rice grains high. There are small windows beside the cabin, four on the left and four on the right, and eight on the one. Pushing open the window, the carved railings are opposite to each other. There are three people sitting at the head of the bed: Su Dongpo in the middle with a tall hat and a thick beard, Fo Yin on the right and Huang Luzhi on the left. Su Dongpo and Huang Luzhi looked at a handkerchief together. Dongpo's right hand holds the right end of the scroll, and his left hand caresses Lu Zhi's back. Lu Zhi left hand holding the left hand roll, right hand pointing to the hand roll, as if to say something. Dongpo shows his right foot, Lu Zhi shows his left foot, and each leans slightly. Their knees close to each other are hidden in the pleats at the bottom of the hand roll. Fo Yin is very much like Maitreya, with his chest open and his arms open. Looking up, God invites him to be different from Su and Huang. The boatman on the left holds the Pu Kui fan in his right hand and caresses the tea stove with his left hand. There is a pot on the stove. The man's eyes are looking straight at the tea stove, and he looks calm, as if listening to whether the tea has boiled.
The name of the author's withdrawal is engraved on it, and the words are "Autumn Day of Apocalypse, Wang Yishu of Yushan was just carved". The handwriting is as small as a mosquito's foot, the strokes are clear, its color is black, and a seal of seal script is engraved, and the words are "Chupingshan people", and its color is red.
A total of five people and eight windows were carved on a boat; Carved a bamboo canopy, paddle, stove, teapot, hand roll and rosary; Couplets, nominations and seal characters are engraved with 34 words. But its length is less than one inch. It is carved by selecting long and narrow peach stones. Ah, the skill is really amazing!
