Bamboo Trail Landscape in Yun Qi

"Yun Qi Bamboo Trail" landscape refers to the wooded mountain pier landscape of Yun Qi Pier: the ancient temple in the deep mountains and the sound of bamboo trails. Yun Qi Bamboo Trail starts from Sanju Pavilion, passes through the stone square beside the pavilion and goes to Sanju Pavilion. It is tall and straight, pointing to the bamboo forest in the sky, like a hospitable old friend lined up to welcome guests. Old bamboo is green, and new bamboo is green. At first glance, the dense layers don't know where the end will be. Bamboo in Yun Qi is famous for its cool and quiet radial direction. When you travel here in midsummer, you can feel its green, cool, quiet and elegant feeling. Hot summer and cicada summer are the best times of the year in Yun Qi Bamboo Trail. Walking on a quiet mountain road in Zhu Mao is like diving in the blue waves of the bamboo sea. The shade is connected with the shade, and the coolness is wrapped in coolness. The mountain wind rises from everywhere, and occasionally the sun shines through the cracks in the branches and leaves, and the light spots jump, reflecting that the travelers are green and tired.

In spring, bamboo shoots and new buds that break through the ground are full of vitality; In summer, old bamboo is cool; In autumn, yellow leaves surround the ground, and ancient trees are full of affection; In winter, the forest is silent and birds peck at the snow. Walking on the secluded mountain road of "thousands of verdant towering, several streams swallowing fine springs" is like diving in the blue waves of the bamboo sea. There is a pavilion at the entrance of the Bamboo Trail, which is inscribed by Comrade Chen Yun, "Bamboo Trail in Yun Qi". Judging from the inscription beside the pavilion, this pavilion was first built in the Ming Dynasty. On the pillars of the pavilion are poems by Chen Can of the Qing Dynasty, such as "Guests come to the pavilion to wash their hearts and worry about dust for a while" and "Thousands of green bamboo shadows ascend to heaven, and several streams swallow fine springs". Yun Qi Bamboo Trail is famous for its coolness and quietness. When you travel here in midsummer, you can feel its green, cool, quiet and elegant feeling. There are more than 1000 years old maple trees. The trunk is folded by three people, nearly 40 meters high. It is a famous ancient tree in West Lake. After the first frost, the trees are full of red leaves, just like rosy clouds reflecting the sun. On both sides of the stone road, there are green bamboos, and there is a pool called "Heart Washing Pool" on the roadside. The water in the pool is cool and transparent. The morning sun rises, spreading on the road through bamboo leaves, golden spots, a few birdsongs and even more beautiful mountains. At the end of the bamboo path, there are rows of ancient trees, pavilions where you can rest and tea rooms where you can sit and drink tea. It is far away from the city, with beautiful scenery and quiet environment. It's really a good place to recuperate. There are clouds in ancient poems, such as "thousand-pole bamboos in shade, flowing water and picturesque mountains", which show the characteristics of Yun Qi.

Bamboo, elegant, upright, unconventional, and even a secluded image symbol, appeared in the poems and paintings of literati, which made the story of the seven sages of bamboo forest, witnessed the swordsmen's sword-front confrontation, swayed in the Xiaoxiang Pavilion of the Pearl Fairy, and penetrated into everyone's heart with great elegance. This bamboo sea at the foot of the mountain is magnificent, and it is a pure land without dirt on earth. People walk on the imperial road paved with stones and don't want to speak loudly, for fear that the breath of enunciation will defile this place where immortals can live. Listen to the sound of the wind blowing in the bamboo forest and appreciate the bamboo and bamboo whispers. If you walk here at night after the rain, you can still hear the sound of bamboo shoots jointing. Yun Qi not only blocks the sun, but also provides shade for ancient trees. Most of the ancient trees in West Lake are among the best in age and volume. For example, there is a Liquidambar formosana with a life span of more than 1000 years and a trunk as high as 38 meters, which can hold three people when folded. Looking up from the trunk, we can see that it is potentially dry and unattainable in Yun Biao, as if thousands of years of historical traces of lakes and mountains are concentrated in its trunk.

Next to the Bamboo Trail, there are the Heart-washing Pavilion, the Sanju Pavilion, the Long Ting Pavilion, the Nature Pavilion, the Imperial Bamboo Pavilion and the Rain Pavilion. After crossing the Bamboo Trail, there is an ancient Yun Qi Temple, which was built by Wu Yueguo in the fifth year of Song Gande (AD 967). It is the eighth founder of Pure Land Sect, and Master Hong, one of the four eminent monks in the late Ming Dynasty, once lived here. With the passage of time, it has become a thing of the past.

Yun Qi ancient temple, Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty visited many times and wrote many poems. There is a big bamboo tree in front of Yun Qi Temple, and there are many Kangxi inscriptions in the temple, named "Huang Zhu". Unfortunately, the Diamond Sutra stone carvings written by Dong Qichang, a calligrapher in the Ming Dynasty, have been destroyed. It is far away from the city, with beautiful scenery and quiet environment. It's really a good place to recuperate.
