Wukui Mountain Longquan Temple is a cultural tourist attraction.
Wukuishan Longquan Temple was rebuilt at a different location. Its original site is located on the north side of Xijie Road, Shancheng Town, known as "Little Fengtian". Completed in April of the 5th year of Guangxu (AD 1879), it is a branch of Longquan Temple in Mount Wutai and the lower courtyard of Longquan Temple in Qianshan Mountain.
The Longquan Temple built by Yuanzi has the main hall, side halls, bell and drum towers, etc., 54 houses, and covers an area of ??7,000 square meters. The temple's carved beams and painted columns are very spectacular. The "Cultural Revolution" in the 1960s was regarded as a product of the four olds. Houses were occupied, Buddhist statues were destroyed, religious instruments were smashed, scriptures were burned, and monks were separated. In 1992, in order to actively implement religious policies, the Meihekou Municipal People's Government approved the reconstruction of Longquan Temple in Longshan Fengling Stream in Wukuishan Scenic Area with the approval of the Provincial People's Government. There are currently 52 palaces with a construction area of ??2,000 square meters and an area of ??80,000 square meters. Behind Longquan Temple stands the Xiangyun Pagoda, a Buddhist pavilion-style ornamental tower with inner stairs and outer corridors. Xiangyun Tower was built in June 1994. It is a pavilion-style ornamental tower imitating the Qing royal family. The tower is 59 meters high, has nine octagonal floors, and has an underground palace on the first floor. The maximum diameter of the bottom floor of the tower is 25 meters, and the diameter of the top floor is 13 meters. Each floor has inner staircases, outer corridors and four Buddhist niches, housing a total of 36 Arhat statues.
The couplets and plaques of Longquan Temple are all written by famous national calligraphers Zhao Puchu, Shen Peng and other celebrities. The plaques of the Main Hall and Longquan Temple are inlaid with real gold; there are 36 Buddha statues enshrined in the temple, with vivid shapes and carvings. Exquisite and lifelike, the tallest statue is 6 meters high.
