Lü Huisheng, Wuweiren, was born in 1901. His father, Lu Zhongfan, was a scholar, and the family relied solely on his father's income from teaching. With the support of his father-in-law, Lu Huisheng was admitted to the Beijing National Agricultural College in the summer of 1922 after graduating from Anqing No. 1 Agricultural School. In November 1924, Sun Yat-sen arrived in Beijing. The left-wing Kuomintang people were unprecedentedly active, and Lu Huisheng was also involved in the trend of the times. The study of Sun Yat-sen's works made him quickly accept the ideas of bourgeois democratic revolution. Soon, he was introduced by two classmates and joined the Chinese Kuomintang.
