Chairman of calligraphers association
The Chairman of Calligraphers Association is Ouyang Zai Tian. Ouyang Zai Tian, whose name is Jin Haihong, is a descendant of Ou Yangxun, a famous calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty, the chairman of China Folk Calligraphers Association and the president of Ou Yangxun Painting and Calligraphy Institute in China. Ouyang Zai Tian, born in a scholarly family in 1960s, graduated from Tianjin Maolin Calligraphy Institute, the first calligraphy professional university in China (1the first session in 987) (later merged into Oriental Art College of Nankai University). 1988 studied in the doctoral class of calligraphy in Capital Normal University and won the first doctoral degree in calligraphy in China. The full-length play "Ninety percent Palace" won the Golden Summit Award from the Ministry of People and Culture of China and was collected by the Palace Museum and the Hunan Provincial Museum.
