The king makes Liuhe, and the valiant soldier makes nine moves. If the war horse is a dragon and a tiger, how magnificent Tengling is. The general is always brilliant in the face of the Great Northern Wilderness. Sword dance jumps and swims, following the wind. Looking up at Tianshan Mountain, the white clouds are Cui Wei. Entering the array to break the arrogance, the sound is megatron and thunderous. Shoot a hundred horses, and then shoot ten thousand people. The Huns didn't dare to fight the enemy, so they fought back. If you report your success to the son of heaven, you can draw Lin Tai.

Appreciation of stele
Among Yan Zhenqing's cursive works, Poem for a General is the most grotesque one. This post is not widely circulated and rarely seen, but people who saw this post were very excited and fell in love at first sight. He lamented: "I haven't found it for more than ten years. Now I can't help but marvel at it! " This post is also called "Poem of Sending General Pei to the Northern Expedition", which has two versions, the original version and the engraved version, and is spread all over the world. The earliest block-printed edition can be found in Yan Shu's album "Loyalty Hall Post" during the Jiading period of the Southern Song Dynasty. The manuscript of this poem has no signature, and it can't be found in the Collection of Lu Official Documents. Nevertheless, judging from its calligraphy style and content, many great calligraphers in the Ming and Qing Dynasties thought it was an original work of Yan Zhenqing. In the poem, General Pei's name is Pei Min, a knight errant in the Tang Dynasty, who is brave and good at fighting. "Biography of Li Bai in the New Tang Dynasty" said: "When Li Bai was literate, it was called singing poetry, Pei Min's sword dance and Zhang Xu's cursive script, which were three unique skills." Zhu recorded in the Records of Famous Paintings in Tang Dynasty that during the Kaiyuan period, the great painter Wu Daozi and he went to Luoyang and met calligraphers Zhang Xu and General Pei Min. Pei Min wanted to ask Wu Daozi to draw a picture for his deceased parents, but Wu Daozi refused. On Sunday, he said, "I've heard a lot about General Pei. If you can dance a sword for me, it will definitely be a gift and help me show my strength. " Zhang Xu immediately agreed, also agreed to entertain PeiMinZhi letter. So Pei Min's sword dance, Wu Daozi's painting and Zhang Xu's calligraphy stirred up the whole Luoyang city at that time, and people said excitedly, "Three wonders a day." Yan Zhenqing's teacher, Zhang Xu, subtly imparted this kind of extra-curricular kung fu to this excellent student, and this "double project" student vividly demonstrated this kind of "unique skill" in "Poem Post to General Pei".
