Stroke order next to the vertical center

Stroke order, I have learned it since grade one or two in primary school. Is it necessary for me to chew Sue when I learn Chinese calligraphy? Yes, the correct stroke order is also very important for writing brush strokes well. Because the stroke order of a word is related to the care and echo between stippling and stippling, and to the beauty of the strokes and fonts of the word. Correct stroke order is one of the keys to writing a good brush.

How did the stroke order come from? The order of strokes is the result of the ancient people's continuous summary and accumulation in their writing practice, and the result of the continuous development of seal script, official script and regular script. There are seven formulas for stroke order: top-down, left-to-right, middle-to-left-to-right, horizontal-to-vertical, left-to-bottom, outside-to-inside, and advanced-to-close. But the most basic rule is from left to right and from top to bottom. This rule has a lot to do with our right-handed writing. If we write the right side first and then the left side, the right hand will block the line of sight of the writing part.

(A) Top-down

"Top-down" means writing from the top of a word to the end. For example, to write the word "Gai", write two points first, then "Wang" and finally "Cai".

(2) From left to right

"Left to right" means writing from the left to the right of the word. For example, when writing the word "Yu", write "Yu" first, then "Yu" and finally "Yu". But the formula is dead and can't be copied mechanically. For example, the order of the word "fire" is two points first, and then "people". If you write the diagram 1 16 from left to right, it is wrong. Also, the stroke order next to the vertical center should be to write two points first, then long vertical, not from left to right: first left, then long vertical, and finally right. In this way, it is wrong to go back and forth from the beginning of vertical painting to the correct point (see figure 1 16), so it is better to write long vertical after two o'clock (or write long vertical after two o'clock). The word "Fang" means to write a tick after the dotted line and then an apostrophe. There is a pen-like echo between the hook and the apostrophe, otherwise it is not beautiful as shown in figure 1 16. When writing the word "Tao", you must write the word "first" and then write it off. You can't write "from left to right" and then write "first" (see figure 1 16).

(3) First in the middle, then around.

"First the middle, then the left and right" means that when you meet a symmetrical word about the middle part, you should write the middle first, and then write both sides. Write the word "small", first write the middle vertical hook, and then write the left and right points. This is because the middle position is fixed first and then the two sides are written, so that the words will not be crooked. But to write "destroy", you can't write it in the middle as shown in figure 1 16.

(4) Cross first and then stabilize.

"Horizontal first, then vertical" means to write horizontal painting first, and then vertical painting. For example, the stroke order of the word "earth" is horizontal. Vertical and horizontal. But the word "step" is from top to bottom, first write the middle vertical, then write the right short horizontal and then the left short vertical, and then write the long horizontal and the "less" below. Can't be written as figure 1 16. The word "long" is written first left, then horizontal, then vertical and finally, and cannot be written first horizontal, then vertical and then left (see figure 1 16). The stroke order of the word "ke" is horizontal first, then "buckle" and finally "buckle", not horizontal first and then "buckle" (see figure 1 16). The word "female" is the last word It is not good to write "good" horizontally first (see figure 1 16). It can be seen that "horizontal first and then vertical" is only a general rule and cannot be applied rigidly.

(5) Withdraw before pressing.

"Press left first" means that some words are pressed left at the same time, so write left first and then press. Write the word "Hui", skim it first, and then write "Yun"; The word "one" can be pressed first, or it can be clicked first and then pressed. Both methods can be used. When writing the word "nine", you should also write an apostrophe first and then a cross hook, not the other way around. Otherwise, writing the word "Xu" will take many detours (see figure 1 16).

(6) first outside and then inside.

"Outside first and then inside" refers to a word with an outer frame, which is written outside first and then inside. If you use the word "same", write an outline first, and then write the word "bite".

(7) Customs clearance in advance

"Advanced combination" refers to the word with full enclosing structure, and the last word is bottom horizontal. For example, write the word "country" vertically on the left, then fold it vertically, write "jade" on three sides of the frame, and finally seal it horizontally.

The above seven points are just general rules. Some words are written in the right order, but they don't look good if they are written quickly. For example, writing the word "minister" horizontally first and then vertically is not beautiful (see figure 1 16). Another example is the word "Cheng", which is not good after being crossed (see figure 1 16). This needs careful consideration. Some words and strokes are varied and continue to this day. They are established and need to learn from different ancient calligraphers.

Writing. Only by mastering the general and special laws of Chinese character writing can we write Chinese characters with a brush more accurately, reasonably and beautifully.
