How to write Xia?

"Summer" is a Chinese character, which refers to the season name of one of the four seasons in a year, summer. According to Shuo Wen Jie Zi, the word "Xia" existed as early as ancient times, and was formed by merging three small characters. Among them, the upper "sun" represents the sun, and the lower two "fields" represent the fields where crops grow. High temperature and long sunshine in summer are important periods for crop growth. Therefore, the original meaning of "summer" is the season when crops grow, and later it is extended to mean the whole summer.

In the writing of Chinese characters, Xia Zi is a relatively simple Chinese character with five strokes. Its basic structure is an upper "sky" and two lower "fields".

Because of its simple shape and structure, Xia characters can be easily written into various works, such as poetry and calligraphy. There are descriptions of summer in many famous literary classics. For example, in the Tang Dynasty, Du Fu wrote, "Summer colors are clear and dark, and the lake is beautiful."

In addition, in the modern Chinese character input method, you can easily type the word "Xia" only by inputting two pinyin letters "X" and "ia".
