Yang Qingquan's introduction

Yang Qingquan, formerly known as Yang Xinquan, from Nanchong, Sichuan, 193 1. 1992 retired as manager of Henan Commercial Materials Company. He is now a member of Henan Calligraphers Association and a researcher of Henan Old People Painting and Calligraphy Institute. Mr Lao Yang has been fond of calligraphy since he was a child. After retirement, he stepped up "training" and "making up lessons". Ten years later, his calligraphy continued to improve, and he participated in many national and provincial exhibitions and won awards. His works have been selected into books such as Famous Painters and Calligraphers in China in the 20th Century and Portraits of Cultural Celebrities in China.
