Appreciation of Liang Qichao's couplets

Liang Qichao's inscribed couplets

Getting a sword is like adding a healthy servant;

The closed door seems to be in the mountains.

-Self-topic

Liang Qichao wrote a couplet.

The soul of Chunhua still loves the stone;

Rain and mountains make me want to swallow this lake.

—— Liu Zhenting, Qiutianhu, Xiqiao Mountain, Nanhai County, Guangdong Province

Liu Zhenting is near Tianqi Lake in Xiqiao Mountain. The first part of this book depicts a red sunset in late spring, when spring is almost over and the petals are falling on the rocks in the mountains. The charming scenery is filled with a breath of hurting spring, and the word "love" expresses the author's deep nostalgia for the good times, which is beautiful and gentle.

The second part recites the poem of swallowing tide in the rain with a cavity of lofty sentiments, depicting the fog billowing in the forest after the rain, as if to swallow the spring tide in the mountain stream, hiding the author's anger at that time, and expressing the author's indignation at the hard-won ambition with the word "swallowing", which is magnificent and vigorous. Couplets are both rigid and flexible, lyrical by scenery, and rigid in softness, which is quite artistic and deep.

The order of the party is eternal;

Zhishui Renshan is here.

-Liang Qichao presented Lin Yutang.

Lin Yutang (1895- 1976) is a modern essayist and novelist. Formerly known as Yutang, Fujian Longxi. He studied in America and Germany, specializing in linguistics. In the 1920s, he was an English professor in Peking University and other schools, and lived in Yuyuan Road in the late 1920s. This couplet was hung on the living room wall at that time; Such as Liang's later works.

This couplet describes Lin's thoughts and academic achievements very aptly. Lin Yutang's best articles are written in Chinese about western culture and in English about China culture. Generally speaking, writing domestic affairs in foreign languages is the easiest to become superficial, but Lin has avoided this shortcoming; This can't be called his superman. This couplet is written in this way. Wonderful! Liang is good at combining sentences and dialogues. This couplet is steady and has no allusions. If you understand it, you should do it best in couplets.

The vicissitudes of life have been set;

Serene is dreaming in her breast.

-To Bing Xin, a famous female writer.

Qing poetry dare not pocket money;

Yue Ming is willing to stay in the corner of the court.

-To a friend

The beautiful poems in the first couplet should be rewarded by friends, not books. Seeing the bright moon or staying in the corner of the stadium is also enough. "Luo" means or. Although the antithesis of couplets is not very stable, it is characterized by elegant and free expression of feelings.

The storm has passed;

The world is now left to stand by and watch

-To a friend

With a shallow blog, with a million;

Know yourself and know yourself, and you will win every battle.

Near the water, it can be clear and clear, from the four bridges, called the cross-ring garden;

-a collection of sentences by the famous poet Xu Zhimo

Xu Zhimo (1896- 193 1) is a modern poet and a representative of the crescent school. There are many poems, including 193 1 year1month. He was killed in a plane crash on his way from Nanjing to Peiping. This series is a combination of words of Song people. The first three sentences of the first part are from Lu He, the second part is from Jiang Kui and the second part is from Chen. On April 1924 12, Tagore, an Indian writer, poet and social activist, was invited to Shanghai.

On June 5438+04, the poet Xu Zhimo accompanied him to Hangzhou West Lake. On the 23rd, he accompanied him to Fayuan Temple, a famous temple in Beijing, to enjoy lilacs. The last three sentences are quoted from: the first sentence of Li Qi's "Clear Dew of Three Mountains in Xijiang Pass", the second sentence of Wang Zhidao's "Celebrating the Case and Sending it to the DPRK", and the last sentence of Chen Jianzhai's "Walking in a kiosk at night and reminiscing about the past". Couplets describe the wonderful story that Xu Zhimo once wrote poems under the "Begonia Flower".

To commemorate this event, Liang Qichao wrote this couplet and presented it to Xu Zhimo. This book is written on eight-foot Xuan paper, written in the style of Northern Wei Dynasty, and marked with vermicelli. It is rigorous and simple, and it is recommended as the best choice in Liang's calligraphy. Ren Gong [that is, Liang Qichao] likes to combine words. This couplet is especially cleverly cut, and the words are like people. It is a fifteen-character couplet, which brings together six sentences from six poets in the Song Dynasty. Not only is the fighting stable, but he is also generous to Long song and more tolerant in artistic conception. It's really hard to talk about it in one go!

Xu Zhimo is a disciple of Liang Qichao, and his description of couplets is very suitable for Xu Zhimo's character. Liang Qichao regarded this couplet as his most proud work before his death. In the appendix of Poetry in the Ice Room, he once wrote: "The most proud thing in my collection is to give Xu Zhimo a pair of couplets ... This couplet can well see Zhimo's character and remember his story. He had accompanied Tagore to the West Lake, so he had no idea. I also tried to make a poem under the begonia. " I'm afraid this is because Liang Qichao "has a furnace in his chest, which belongs to casting."

The most delicious thing is incompetence, but you are still awake when you are drunk, and you are still drunk when you wake up;

How can I live if I can't live? If you smile, you will feel at home.

-a set of sentences for the season.

Another representative work of Liang Qichao was presented to his good friend Ji Chang. Miracle often drinks good wine. He doesn't get drunk every day, so he collected such a couplet as a gift. The first part is Zhu Xizhen's Jiangchengzi and Water, and the second part is He Xinlang by Liu and Qi Tianle by Chai Zhongshan. When Jane Jichang's friends saw this couplet, they were all amazed and said that Jane Jichang was really graceful. It is precisely because Liang Qichao studied hard since he was a child and had countless poems on his chest that he was able to achieve mastery.

Describing the sages' metaphysical meaning, the whole hundred schools of thought are uneven, and China has been in the WTO for seventy years;

Serve the beans all over the country, make you happy in spring wine, and be covered by the industry personally.

-He Kangyou's 70th birthday.

In the Republic of China 16, Ding Mao (1927) celebrated Kang Youwei's seventieth birthday on February 5th in the summer calendar. Liang Qichao and other scholars went to Shanghai to celebrate as soon as possible and presented this couplet. This couplet is written in regular script. Kang Youwei is a giant of modern Confucianism. His works explain and develop profound and mysterious ancient books in simple terms, and express his views and opinions on various schools of thought that have been debated for generations.

The first part of the book "describes the sages' metaphysical meaning, and all the hundred schools are not unified", and the last sentence is closely related to the length of life. The first two sentences of the second antithetical couplet are from the Ode to Tokyo written by Zhang Heng in the Han Dynasty, referring to the immortal Weng, whose teacher was respected by China people and provided him with delicious food and wine. The last sentence uses the secret code of Confucius "three thousand disciples, seventy sages" to praise a handsome teacher like Confucius.

Kang Youwei is a man with clear political merits and demerits, but this birthday celebration does not involve merits and demerits, only praises his academic achievements and sets off the festive atmosphere with beautiful words, so it is particularly eye-catching in many birthday celebrations.

Liang Qichao laughed at couplets.

I am lucky to be in my garden today, and I am lucky to be in Haizi tomorrow. When will I be lucky to be in Gu Changan? Hundreds of millions of people have dried their blood and celebrated for only one person;

Fifty toes, 60 toes in Taiwan Province province and 70 toes in three northeastern provinces? Thousands of miles and the map are gradually advancing, and it is clear that the country has no eternal life.

-a guest of Liang Qichao when he was a teenager.

Liang Qichao was smart and studious since childhood. One day, he had a visitor, so he didn't learn this sentence until he tried it. "Tao Qian", that is, Tao Yuanming, has a poem "Picking chrysanthemums under the east fence and seeing Nanshan leisurely." Xiao Qichao knew that this sentence came from this poem and immediately made the next sentence with the same allusions. "Zhao Bo" was a cheap messenger of the Zhou Dynasty. According to legend, he rested under a Gan Tang tree during his southern tour, and was later called "Zhao Bo Pond" to show his admiration. When the guests saw Xiao Qichao, they all learned a lot, and they all believed that the reputation of a child prodigy deserved its reputation.

There are flowers in the sleeves, and young people hide spring scenery; (Qi Chao's father)

Hanging a mirror in front of the hall makes adults observant. (Liang Qichao)

Liang Qichao 10 years old, went to Xinhui County with his father to test the boy, and stayed with his father's good friend Li Jia. One morning, Liang Qichao was playing in the yard. Seeing the bright peach blossoms in the sky, he picked a twig and sat on the stone bench to watch them alone. It happened that his father and Li Lai met at this moment. He was afraid of being accused, so he hid the peach blossom in his sleeve. But I still let my father see it, so I sent this letter to beg him to be right. If I can't do it well, I will be punished. Liang Qichao just thought about it and answered the following sentence. His father was overjoyed to hear that he was "observant"

In winter, Xia Suiqing studied Chunqiu Zhuan; (Liang Qichao)

Outside Donghua Gate, South Chen Han enjoys the Northwest Room. (Huang Yanpei)

-Huang Yanpei belonged to Liang Qichao 39 years ago.

The first couplet was written by Liang Qichao when he visited his old friend Xia Suiqing in the winter of 19 12, and it was embedded with "spring, summer, autumn and winter". Xia Suiqing didn't answer, and later told Huang Yanpei about it. In the winter of 195 1, Guo Moruo invited some old friends to get together in his apartment. Nan, Bai Yang and others arrived late and explained, "Tian Han took us to the Donghua Gate Theater to watch Mei Lanfang rehearse the matchmaker."

Huang Yanpei jumped up and said loudly, "I see!" "Immediately, Liang Qichao's sentence 39 years ago was embedded with" southeast and northwest ". When Guo Moruo heard the reason of this incident, he said, "This alliance is so successful that it is really a match made in heaven. "

Put on a dress, hold the nine immortals' bones, and call yourself a silly brother rudely; (Zhang Zhidong)

Wan Li Road, thousands of books, the chivalrous man is proud of the princes. (Liang Qichao)

-Liang Qichao to Zhang Zhidong

Liang Qichao/KLOC-was elected at the age of 0/7. He is really young and promising. On one occasion, he visited Zhang Zhidong, governor of Guangdong and Guangxi, and handed over the name of his self-styled foolish brother. Zhang Zhidong was furious and changed color after seeing him, which made the guards say that only when he was good could he meet him. Liang Qichao smiled coldly and immediately replied. Zhang Zhidong saw it and was greatly appreciated. He went out to see him and talked about it.

The four rivers come first, and the four seasons come second. Mr. Wang lives in Jiangxia. Who is the first? Who is the second one? (Zhang Zhidong)

Three religions and nine streams are in the front, three talents are in the back, and the boy is Confucianism. How dare he be in the front and back? (Liang Qichao)

-Liang Qichao and Zhang Zhidong

Zhang Zhidong was transferred to the governor of Huguang, and the governor's office was located in Jiangxia (now Wuchang, Hubei). Liang Qichao once passed by here and called at home. Zhang Zhidong used the place name "Jiangxia" as his idea. "Four waters" refer to "Jiang", "He", "Huai" and "Ji", with the Yangtze River ranking first in turn. "Four seasons" means "spring, summer, autumn and winter". According to the seasons, summer comes next. Liang Qichao, who claimed to be one of the best literati in the south of the Yangtze River, tacitly observed his intention and made the following sentences after a little thinking.

"Three religions" refers to "Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism", which is preceded by "Confucianism"; "Three talents" refers to "heaven, earth and people", and "people" comes last, which means that it is really unclear whether the younger generation is a scholar, ahead or behind. With the demeanor of a "Confucian", he seems to be ashamed of himself as a "boy", and he speaks the words "how dare to be in the front" and "how dare to be in the back" quite appropriately, politely and superciliously. Zhang Zhidong had to gasp in admiration: "This scholar is really a genius in the world!" The ends of the upper and lower sentences of this couplet are both lame and fly in the ointment.
