In the Tang and Song Dynasties, the fonts of China characters were mature, and the historical evolution process from Oracle Bone Inscriptions to running script was completed. In the Tang Dynasty, regular script developed greatly, and famous calligraphers such as Yan Zhenqing, Liu Gongquan, Ouyang Xun, and Chu Suiliang appeared. Liao was founded by the Khitans. When Emperor Mao of Liao Dynasty was emperor, he successively created the Khitan characters and the Khitan characters according to the Chinese characters in the Central Plains.
