Liang Jinjin’s personal profile

After graduating from Qinyang Normal University in Henan Province in 1981, he worked as a middle school teacher and was responsible for teaching mathematics, physics, chemistry and English. He obtained Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees from Beijing Normal University in 1988, 1991 and 2000 respectively. Master and doctorate degree, he stayed at the school in 1991 and served as lecturer and associate professor. In 2004, he was selected by the China Scholarship Council and the school to be a visiting scholar at the University of Sydney, Australia, where he conducted research and exchanges on genetics, cell biology, life science teaching theory and bilingual teaching. He worked in the Youth League Committee of Beijing Normal University (part-time) from 1991 to 1994, and served as deputy secretary of the Party branch (part-time) in the Department of Biology of the school from 1994 to 1997. In 2001, he was appointed director of the Genetics Teaching and Research Office, and from 2001 to 2003 He serves as the director of the Key Laboratory of Molecular Cell Genetics and Breeding of the school.
