Chang Sanzhou (1833 ~ 1905), a native of Oita Prefecture, Japan. He is the son of the famous poet Hasegawa Miwai and a disciple of the famous poet Guang Lai Tanchuang. In the twenty-seventh year of Meiji (1894), he entered the East Palace as a lecturer and was knighted in the following year. In the first year of Meiji, he made meritorious service in the North Vietnam and Huijin wars. He used to be the director of the academic affairs office and a first-class editor. There is also Sanzhou Jushi Collection, which is a master of calligraphy and Taoism during the Meiji period. Changzhou is as famous as Japanese calligraphers Daiyuse, Yoshida Wanjia, Tsui Jin Dong and Nikko in Meiji period. Fu Qin Bookstore said that Chang Sanzhou "is not only a person who admires the taste of books, but also a person who studies poetry and painting, all of which are the Beidou in the literary garden of our country." Chang Sanzhou's calligraphy is "muddy pen, delicate and graceful structure, hidden and inviolable, and it is the person who puts Wang Yanzhi in the mantle"!
