Why did Pei Xingjian ask Baili to keep his promise?

Pei Xingjian was a military strategist, politician, and calligrapher of the Tang Dynasty. His nickname was Shuu Yue. Why he was called Baili Shuu Yue was to agree with the name of his younger brother Baili Xuance. Pei Xingjian in history can be said to be Jack Su. He was born in the middle family house of the Pei family in Hedong. During the reign of Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, he was selected in the Ming Dynasty Classics examination and was awarded the title of Professor Su Dingfang in military thaumaturgy.

Brief introduction of Pei Xingjian as a historical figure

In history, Pei Xingjian’s popularity did not give in to others. Pei Xingjian was born into a wealthy family, the Pei family in Hedong, and had successively produced 59 prime ministers, 59 generals, 14 ministers, 55 ministers, etc. Such prominence is enough to glorify the annals of history. To put it simply, Pei Xingjian was not the second generation official, but the Nth generation official. Pei Xingjian can be said to have both cultural relics and good calligraphy.

However, his official career was not very smooth. When the emperor wanted to make Wu Zetian the queen, the people who were most opposed to her were the Tuogu ministers, mainly Changsun Wuji and Chu Suiliang. Because of this incident, both Chu Suiliang and Changsun Wuji were eventually executed, and Pei Xingjian was also demoted to the post of Changshi of the Governor's Mansion of Xizhou. Unexpectedly, Pei Xingjian made political achievements in this place and was put into important use by the emperor.
