Zhungeer Volunteers Association is a non-profit non-governmental public welfare organization established with the approval of Zhungeer Banner Spiritual Civilization Office.
Zhungeer Volunteer Association aims at "promoting traditional virtues, advocating dedication, friendship, mutual assistance and progress, paying attention to social vulnerable groups, improving citizens' civilized quality and improving social atmosphere", and is guided by "helping others and promoting harmony". Through volunteer service, Zhungeer Volunteer Association drives the general public to serve all levels of society, and influences and inspires more people to join voluntary organizations to contribute to society through practical actions.
The Association has established the following public welfare activities: helping the elderly, helping students, helping the disabled, and helping teachers.
The Ministry of Helping the Elderly organizes volunteers to go to empty nesters regularly to offer condolences, bringing spiritual comfort to the elderly and some digestible food to them. Go to nursing homes regularly for condolence activities. Bring nutrition to the elderly in nursing homes, chat with the elderly, chat with the elderly, perform cultural programs for the elderly, bring psychological comfort to the elderly, cut their hair, cut their nails, wash their feet, wash their bodies, help the staff clean up, clean up their rooms, repair and maintain, and do something within their power. After each condolence, when the volunteers want to leave, the old people always hold the volunteers for a long time and refuse to let go. If the volunteers can't visit the old people in time because of something, the old people always say to the administrator, "Why don't they come yet? Give them a call!"
The old people have treated our Zhungeer volunteers as their own children, and the volunteers also regard the old people as their relatives. "Filial piety comes first in all the virtues", everyone will get old. Being kind to the elderly means being kind to ourselves. Today is our tomorrow. The Ministry of Helping the Disabled regularly gives condolences to the disabled, bringing them daily necessities, helping them with housework and psychological counseling. Volunteer Lu Haiying carries water for a disabled family every week for seven years. In the past, this son did not care about the draught problem of the elderly, and the son-in-law was not responsible for providing for the elderly according to local customs. Finally, the son-in-law of this family was moved and dug a well for the elderly, and Lu Haiying finished carrying water. The Ministry of Caring for the Disabled and the Disabled Persons' Federation jointly organize the work of helping the disabled. Go to Xue Jiawan Fushou Nursing Home, send wheelchairs, hearing AIDS, crutches, sitting posture correction chairs, books and other items to the disabled elderly, and give them psychological counseling and other work;
the student aid department subsidizes poor students. In the early days, the association carried out the "Ten Helps One" activity to help more than ten students, totaling more than 2, yuan. The Ministry of Justice and Education has cooperated with Tiebei Community to give free classes to students from poor families in the community, learning arts, calligraphy, English and musical instruments.
