When we first arrived at her home, the first person who greeted us was the enthusiastic Corgi "Keke". The house is neat and warm. Brilliant sunflower paintings and easels are placed in the corner of the sofa. All kinds of exquisite trinkets are lit on the shelf. My daughter's painting is a masterpiece under the glass panel of the coffee table. Rows of neat books are listed in the cupboard ... she is the owner of the house, Liu Tingwei. Chatting with her is a very challenging thing. It is easy to "lead people astray" by some strange and interesting stories that pop out of her mouth from time to time, and all these stories she tells come from books she has read. ...

When I was a child, my classmates were "afraid" of me going to their home to play, because after I left, I became what their parents called "the children of other people's families". When I go to my classmates' home, I am often very curious about only one place-the bookcase. I will unconsciously look through the books in the cupboard. This behavior has become the "root of all evil" in their eyes. My parents will say, "Look at others a little. Why does she like reading so much? You only know how to play!" " Even after ten or twenty years, some students are still "worried" about it.

My mother has not allowed me to watch TV since I was a child. I don't blame her for being too strict. Who said I was born short-sighted? In that era when there were no mobile phones, tablets and computers, I had little entertainment. Besides, I have a father who loves reading and is willing to buy books for me. Naturally, I was "forced" to become a child who loves reading.

I didn't know until later that the object I was "forced" to fall in love with was my true love. Books have always been with me, giving me motivation, courage and comfort, so that I will not feel lonely when I am alone, and give me the most powerful knowledge support in frequent work changes.

At the beginning of 2020, the epidemic prevented me from returning to work in Guangdong, where I had a job closely related to reading. I work as a reading teacher in a company called About Reading Room. I provide book guidance for children aged 6- 12 every day according to the book list drawn up by the company. I will read a book in advance, and then introduce and explain the wonderful and interesting stories and knowledge in the book to my children in class. Children will be involuntarily attracted to the book to find more.

This job makes me enjoy it, and it also exposes me to a set of books that I like very much. Everything is animistic, and beauty is one of them.

James heriott.

Everything is bright and beautiful.

This series of "Everything" was featured by James Herriot of Britain. He is not a real writer, but his job is actually a veterinarian.

What great writing can a veterinarian write?

You know, in Britain, how many veterinarians can be summoned by the Queen and awarded to order of the british empire? And his extraordinary honor is absolutely inseparable from his series of bestsellers.

The eccentric old cat who planned the cat riot, the old dog that the veterinarian didn't like but had to treat himself, made him covered in blood in the middle of the night just to give birth to a cow ... In Everything is Beautiful, a small thing in the countryside became an extraordinary thing worth writing down. This kind of spiritual interaction with animals has far exceeded the duties of a veterinarian.

What he really loves is the most primitive life, the most primitive emotion, the most natural and sincere goodwill between people, between people and animals, and between animals.

He voluntarily gave up the rich life and income in the city, and spent more than 50 years traveling all over the country, enjoying the grace of nature and praising the miracle of life. Discover beauty from small things and convey it to readers with happy and beautiful words, so that readers in this foreign country and different times can feel the same.

Compared with the time when I was determined to take root in a big city, I seem to be much calmer now. My daughter and I live here, do a relatively free job, write my own official WeChat account occasionally, and read my favorite books comfortably ... Like James heriott, I enjoy and appreciate everything I am experiencing, and I am very satisfied and happy.

In February this year, I recommended myself as a volunteer in Xianning Children's Library, and accompanied the children to grow up in the form of "reading with you" sharing session. Play games with children, share picture books with them, and let beautiful stories and words nourish their childhood. I hope they can also reap the pleasure and satisfaction I get from the book.
