Calligraphy format

Calligraphy formats in different positions:

1, banners: long calligraphy and painting, fully folded in half with long rice paper (folded in half or half), and works with straight books are called banners. For example, couplets are composed of two banners. Long poems, if not written by nave, can be divided into banners, which are very beautiful.

2. Couplets: Two opposite banners, written on the upper and lower couplets respectively, are one of the traditional cultures of the Han nationality, also known as couplets, couplets or couplets. Contradictions written on paper, cloth or carved on bamboo, wood and columns. The antithesis of couplets is neat and even, which is a unique artistic form of Chinese language.

3. nave: The material paper is fully opened or slightly less than fully opened, and the banner is hung on the couplet alone or side by side. In the Ming Dynasty, the university students' office was in the cabinet, the Chinese books were in the east and west rooms, and the university students were in the middle, so it was called nave.

Dou Fang is a square work written vertically, and the writing content is generally four to six lines. When writing, we should pay attention to the arrangement of space, the writing relationship between text and signature, the size of seal and blank space. In addition, the most basic elements of calligraphy inscription should include the title of the written content, the date of writing and the name of the writer.
