Yesterday morning, when I followed Teacher Tan into his calligrapher’s cultural studio located in No. 412, Building 1, Qinhu, Changshu, what caught my eye was the vigorous, powerful and otherworldly calligraphy. A masterpiece, the writing reveals a strong cultural flavor and inspiring connotation of inspiring people to strive for progress. The room design is simple and bright, exquisite and practical, elegant and generous.
The living room is a two-story suite structure. The upper floor is a bedroom with two bays in the north and south. There is a large and luxurious double bed in the front, and there is also a sleeping room in the back. Teacher Tan led me to chat and talk about our daily life. If a friend cannot go home that day for some reason, he or she can stay overnight here! he said humorously.
The lower room is the center of the calligraphy studio. Looking outside the glass of the floor-to-ceiling windows, the sky is blue, with white clouds floating leisurely in the sky. As far as the eye can see, there are countless high-rise buildings. Pointing straight into the sky like Optimus Prime.
Teacher Tan made an appointment with Teacher Shao in his studio that day, and came specially to create a red peony painting with splashes of ink. We watched him concentrate on countless drawings on rice paper. Not long after, a traditional Chinese painting "Blooming Wealth" with a peony garden style was vividly displayed in front of the world. The peonies in the work have appropriate shades, clear layers, natural transitions, and appropriate density. Finally, Teacher Shao creatively added two dancing butterflies on top, which further highlights the charm of the painting.
In Teacher Tan’s studio, he refilled my tea from time to time, while introducing to Teacher Shao and the framer how I became close friends with him in Shajiabang.
At this time, Teacher Shao's masterpiece "Flowers Blooming and Wealth" was completed, and then Teacher Tan also wrote Su Dongpo's famous poem with a flourish of his pen:
"Looking across the mountain on the side of the mountain The peaks are different in distance and height. I don’t know the true face of Lushan Mountain, just because I am in this mountain." The calligraphy treasure is stamped with two bright red seals.
When it was time for lunch, Teacher Tan insisted on asking Teacher Shao to have lunch with us. However, he declined, saying that he still had things to do at hand and left in a hurry.
Since Mr. Tan’s calligraphy works often require framers to make them, and Mr. Tan’s studio is close to the framer’s workshop, and both of them are connected via WeChat, when Mr. Tan will When the good news of Teacher Shao's on-site painting spread throughout the circle of friends, the framer hurriedly knocked on the door of Teacher Tan's room to witness the wonderful art of the famous painter.
When the three of us finished our lunch, we returned to Teacher Tan’s studio and continued to drink tea and chat about home affairs. Teacher Tan is worthy of being an art master and also has in-depth research on tea culture. “Gongfu Tea” He described the operation essentials like a dream and in a clear and logical manner. The tea set he used to make tea was a purple sand teapot from Yixing, and the tea was Bi Lu Chun black tea. After drinking it, he felt that it was something special, and the flavor was extraordinary and perfect.
Seeing that it was still early, Teacher Tan asked us to stay a little longer in the studio so that we could feel more about the unique charm of culture and art.
Teacher Tan is versatile and generous, so more and more like-minded friends gather around him. Teacher Tan has not only made remarkable achievements in literature and art, but also made great breakthroughs in calligraphy art. After years of hard study and unremitting efforts, he is already a member of the Suzhou Calligraphy Association and a member of the Suzhou Writers Association. Currently, the only writer and calligrapher in Shajiabang is Teacher Tan, and no one else can compete with him.
Dr. Wang Debao, who works in the community clinic, said passionately that Teacher Tan is a rare genius in the history of Shajiabang. Suddenly, when everyone was unaware, a wonderful and beautiful article spread all over the circle of friends, which was really amazing.
At 4 o'clock in the afternoon that day, Teacher Tan and I said goodbye to the framer and headed back.
When Teacher Tan drove onto the highway, the speed of the car was like an arrow. However, while driving, Teacher Tan was playing Yin Xiumei's "I Love You, Snow in Saibei" which was very dynamic. The melody and intoxicating singing voice brought us into a wonderful world of ice and snow. It happened to be in sharp contrast with the scorching sun outside the car. On the one hand, there is the cool breeze from the air conditioner in the car, and on the other hand, there is the comfort of the music effect. The intense heat when I first got on the bus has already dissipated.
When the car passes by the viaduct, it looks like a road in the sky, and its ups and downs symbolize the journey of life.
There are also those continuous buildings that give people the feeling of entering a foreign country.
We passed by here and enjoyed the flowing scenery flying beside us...
