Zhang Peng's personal honor

Mr Zhang Peng has written articles for Beijing Daily, China Children and Contemporary Fortune. His calligraphy and painting works include Jing Yi Calligraphy Collection, Zhang Peng Kai Shu Song Zhengqi, Zhang Peng Cao Shu Qian Zi Wen, Zhang Peng Zhuanshu Hundred Surnames, Zhang Peng Lishu Yueyang Tower, China Calligraphy Education Collection, and How Westerners Appreciate China Calligraphy. He has held many calligraphy and painting exhibitions in Hongkong, Taiwan Province, Japanese, Singaporean, Malaysian and Western Europe.

During the Beijing Olympic Games, the State Sports General Administration presented Mr. Zhang Peng's official script "Aide" as a national gift to Mr. Rogge, President of the International Olympic Committee. The Japanese youth delegation to China presented Mr. Ren, president of the Japan Youth Friendship Association, with his calligraphy works as a national gift, which enhanced the artistic exchange between China and foreign countries and promoted the precious charm of China's calligraphy. Nearly 600 works by Mr. Zhang Peng have been collected by Chinese and foreign museums, art galleries, overseas Chinese, businessmen and politicians. 1995 was awarded the honorary title of artist with both ability and political integrity by the Ministry of People and Culture of China.

Rogge loves the traditional culture of China. Accompanied by Liu Peng, Director General of the State Sports General Administration, and Yu Zaiqing, Deputy Director General, Mr. Rogge, President of the International Olympic Committee, arrived at the scene of the 2008 Wushu Competition. After presenting the prizes to the winners, Mr. Rogge accepted the official script written by Zhang Peng, a famous calligrapher of the State Sports General Administration, and took a group photo with Mr. Zhang Peng as a souvenir.
