As for the interior decoration of oil painting or calligraphy, it varies from person to person and is determined by the owner's personality, taste, cultural background and values, which is beyond words.
If you hang oil paintings indoors, it will make the room full of western art colors, showing the noble and elegant temperament of the owner.
If the calligraphy works are hung indoors, the whole room hides a simple and dignified background, highlighting the elegant and solemn characteristics of the owner.
Both oil painting and calligraphy have their own characteristics, each with its own merits, and the beauty among them may not be enough for outsiders.
Of course, if the two are combined, it may be meaningless.
If I have to choose between the two, I choose China's traditional art form-calligraphy.
Hope to consider adopting it.
