The Yangtze River splits the Tianmen Peak like a giant axe, and the green river flows around the island.
The green hills on both sides are neck and neck, and a boat meets leisurely from the horizon.
Translation:
The Yangtze River splits the male peak of Tianmen like a giant axe, and the Qingjiang River does not flow here. The beautiful scenery of the green hills on both sides of the strait is inseparable, and a solitary boat comes from the horizon.
Li Bai (70 1-762), whose real name is Taibai, also known as "purple laity" and "fallen fairy", was a great romantic poet in the Tang Dynasty, and was praised as "poetic fairy" by later generations, and was also called "Du Li" with Du Fu. In order to distinguish himself from two other poets, Li Shangyin and Du Mu, that is, "Little Du Li", Du Fu and Li Bai merged again.
Extended information: According to the Book of the New Tang Dynasty, Li Bai is the ninth grandson of (Li Gui, Wu Liangzhao), and he is a descendant of all kings. He is cheerful and generous, loves to drink and write poems, and likes to make friends. According to Anqi's Notes on the Chronology of Li Bai's Complete Works and Yu Xianhao's Selected Works of Li Bai, Wang Tianmen Mountain was written at the turn of spring and summer in the 13th year of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (725). At that time, Li Baichu, who was 25 years old, left Bashu and took a boat to Jiangdong via Dangtu (now Anhui) for the first time.
