Zheng Qinwang's Calligraphy
It is said that Prince Cheng liked calligraphy and other arts since he was a child, and practiced hard since he was a child. In addition, his innate wisdom and good knowledge made his calligraphy once famous. From some of his works, we can see his art of learning calligraphy and his own achievements in calligraphy.
As for Cheng's calligraphy, he first learned calligraphy, and then learned his calligraphy style and font characteristics. At the same time, widely copied the calligraphy works of Jin, Tang, Song and Ming countries. After a long period of practice, he has formed a more regular, beautiful, vigorous, elegant and fluent font style. At the same time, his characters are most famous for regular script and running script.
As far as its calligraphy style is concerned, most of them have the characteristics of inheriting Zhao Meng's calligraphy style. As far as fonts are concerned, it is mainly complete and beautiful, and it also has one of the main characteristics of the government Guantanamo font. At the same time, they combine the characteristics of Ou Yangxun calligraphy font, which is different from the correct and beautiful style that the official institutions have been pursuing.
Cheng's calligraphy is mainly regular script and running script. He was also a famous calligrapher in Qing Dynasty. He, Weng Fanggang, Liu Yong and Tie Bao are also known as the four great people in Gan Long. In addition, Liu Chengtie also has a nickname called Weng.
Cheng Taizi Zhu Zhi Zhi
Prince Cheng loved reading since childhood and was proficient in calligraphy. He was ordered to write the jade spirit tablet. In the middle of Qing Dynasty, his fame spread all over Kyoto. At that time, he, Weng Fanggang and Liu Yong were also called "Four Great Calligraphers".
Cheng Taizi Zhu Zhi Zhi
Cheng's early calligraphy mainly came from the study of Dong Qichang's calligraphy. In his later years, he mainly studied Ou Yangxun's calligraphy. At the same time, according to the inscriptions of Jiucheng Liquan and Huadu Temple Zen master Taming, the "Golden Race Law" was engraved and widely circulated in the world. He was evaluated in Qing Dynasty, but the evaluation of him only reflected one aspect of Cheng's calligraphy.
It may be because he was smart and eager to learn since he was a child, and he used all these people's calligraphy on himself. One of them is Zhu Zhi's Ci. As for Zhi Zhu's Prince Ci, the most commonly used is regular script, which has 280 words. This work can also be said to be a masterpiece of a prince in terms of artistic achievements.
Regarding the content of Zhu Xi's ci, first of all, from the font, every word of his is square, colorful, with a faint charm in humility and a natural charm. In short, everyone is full of energy. If we read carefully, we can find traces of Liu Cheng's calligraphy in the regular script of the Tang Dynasty, especially in Zhi Zhu's ci.
Unfortunately, some of his calligraphy techniques were too rigorous, and unconsciously formed a model of the "wide court style" of the court painting school in the early Qing Dynasty.
