bamboo fan inscription

It is said that once, Wang Xizhi went to a village. An old mother-in-law carried a basket of hexagonal bamboo fans to sell at the collection. That kind of bamboo fan is very simple, and there is no decoration, which can't arouse the interest of passers-by. It seems that it can't be sold, and the old woman is very anxious. Seeing this situation, Wang Xizhi sympathized with the old woman, so he went up to her and said, "You can't sell this bamboo fan because there are no pictures or characters on it. How about I give you an inscription? " The old woman didn't know Wang Xizhi. Seeing his enthusiasm, she gave him the bamboo fan to write. Wang Xizhi took a pen and wrote five words on each fan, and returned them to the old woman. The old mother-in-law can't read, and she feels that his writing is very sloppy and very unhappy. Wang Xizhi comforted her and said, "Don't worry. You told the fan buyer that it was written by Wang Youjun. "As soon as Wang Xizhi left, the old woman did as he said. People on the collection rushed to buy it when they saw that it was really Wang Youjun's calligraphy. A basket of bamboo fans will be sold out soon.

Teach children to learn books

Wang Xianzhi, the seventh son of Wang Xizhi, was smart and studious since childhood. He began to learn calligraphy when he was seven or eight years old, and studied under his father. One day, Xiao Xianzhi asked his mother Xi: "I just need to write it for another three years, right?" Mom shook her head. "Five years of head office?" Mom shook her head again. I was in a hurry and said to my mother, "How long do you think it will take?" "Remember, after you finish writing these 18 jars of water in the courtyard, your handwriting will have bones and muscles, and you will stand upright and steady." When I turned around, my father stood behind him. Wang Xianzhi refused to accept it and said nothing. He gritted his teeth and practiced for five years, showing his father a lot of written words, hoping to hear a few words of praise. Who knows, Wang Xizhi shook his head one by one. When the word "big" was lifted, my father showed a satisfied expression, filled in a dot under the word "big" casually, and then returned all the manuscripts to the dedication. Xiao Xian's heart was still not satisfied, so he showed all his calligraphy to his mother and said, "I practiced for another five years, and I practiced it completely according to my father's words. Look carefully, what is the difference between my father's and mine? " Mother really looked at it carefully for three days, and finally pointed to the point that Wang Xizhi added under the word "big" and sighed and said, "My son has worn out three cylinders of water, but only one point is like Xihe." After listening to it, he was discouraged and said weakly, "It's difficult! If this continues, when can we have good results? " Seeing that his arrogance had disappeared, his mother encouraged him to say, "Son, as long as you work hard, there is no river you can't cross or mountain you can't climb. As long as you keep practicing like these years, you will certainly achieve your goal! " After listening to the dedication, I was deeply moved and kept practicing. Hard work pays off, and the practice of calligraphy has exhausted 18 vats of water, making rapid progress in calligraphy. Later, Wang Xianzhi's words reached the level of penetrating the back of the paper and perfection. His words were juxtaposed with Wang Xizhi's and were called "two kings".

get to the point

Wang Xizhi of Jin Dynasty, with few words, is a rare talent in the world. At the age of seven, he was good at calligraphy. At the age of twelve, he saw the ancient "Pen Shuo" in his father's pillow and stole it. Father asked: "Why did you steal my secret book?" Wang Xizhi just laughed and didn't answer. Mother said, "Look at Pen Shuo." Father saw that he was young and was afraid that he could not keep a secret. He said to Wang Xizhi, "I'll teach it to you when you grow up." Wang Xizhi sincerely asked his father: "Give it to me now. If I wait until I am an adult, I am afraid I will bury my childhood talents. " Father was very happy and gave it to him. In less than a month, calligraphy has made great progress. After Mrs. Wei saw it, she said to Wang Ce, who was the official of Taichang, "Wang Xizhi must have read Bi Shuo. Recently, he has read his calligraphy and has developed a mature and steady style." Mrs. Wei said with tears: "This child will definitely be more famous than me." At that time, Emperor Jin was going to the northern suburbs to offer sacrifices, and asked Wang Xizhi to write his congratulatory message on a board, and then sent workers to carve it. The engraver cut the board layer by layer and found that Wang Xizhi's calligraphy ink had been printed into the board. He cut into the depth of three points before reaching the bottom! Woodworking marveled at Wang Xizhi's pen power, his calligraphy skills were perfect, and his pen strength was so impressive! Although the legend itself is somewhat exaggerated, it is very appropriate to use it as a metaphor for good calligraphy skills and thorough analysis of problems!

A book becomes a white goose

Wang Xizhi, a book sage, likes geese very much. He thinks that raising geese can not only cultivate sentiment, but also learn some calligraphy theory from observing the movements of geese. Once Wang Xizhi went out to play and saw a group of beautiful white geese, he wanted to buy them. When asked, he found out that these geese were raised by a nearby Taoist priest and wanted to discuss with him to buy the geese. When the Taoist priest heard that the famous Wang Xizhi wanted to buy them, he said: As long as Wang Youjun can copy a copy of Huang Ting Jing for me, he will give him some geese. Wang Xizhi readily agreed, which made the book a white goose.

On one occasion, Taiwei Chi Jian sent his protege to see Wang Dao, hoping to choose a son-in-law among the children of the Wangs. Wang Dao asked people to go to the east wing to see the Wangs' children. When his protege returned, he said to Chi Jian, "All the Wangs' children are nice, but when they hear a messenger coming, they all seem stiff and unnatural. Only one person is sitting on the east bed, eating with an empty stomach, as if nothing had happened." Chi Jian said, "This is the right husband for me." Upon inquiry, it turned out to be Wang Xizhi. Chi Jian married his daughter to him.

Make up Spring Festival couplets skillfully

Wang Xizhi, a great calligrapher, writes Spring Festival couplets and posts them on the door every New Year's Eve. Because his handwriting is called "the best running script in the world", many people want to get it and it is rare. So every year on New Year's Eve, his Spring Festival couplets are posted, and before midnight, they are secretly uncovered. This year, New Year's Eve came again, and Wang Xizhi still wrote the Spring Festival couplets with the words "Happiness never comes in pairs, but it never rains alone", leaving the second half. People who want to steal couplets are disappointed when they see that these eight words are unlucky. When he arrived in Yinshi, Wang Xizhi made up the second half and became a "double blessing today, but it never rains but it pours last night." "Early the next morning, people who want to steal Spring Festival couplets have changed, and they are all amazed and clap their hands.

East Bed Husband

"East Bed Husband" can also be called "East Bed Husband", "East Bed Wife", "East Bed Wife" and "East Bed Wife" Chi Jian has a daughter, who is 28 years old, and her name is Xuanxuan. People born with talents have a good appearance, and Ji Jian's love is like the apple of his eye. Chi Jian wants to choose a husband for a woman. Chi Jian thinks that there are many children of Prime Minister Wang Dao's family. I heard that all of them are beautiful, and Chi Jian hopes to choose a husband among the children of Prime Minister Wang's family. One day after the early morning, Chi Jian told Prime Minister Wang about his idea of choosing a husband. Prime Minister Wang said, "Well, there are many children in my family, so you can choose them at home. I agree with whoever you like." Chi Jian ordered the housekeeper, brought a generous gift, and came to Prime Minister Wang's house. When the children of Wangfu heard that Xi Taiwei sent someone to find a husband, they all dressed up carefully and came out to meet each other. Looking at it, the housekeeper of Longfu feels that all the young talents in Wangfu are very good. Finally, when the housekeeper of Longfu came to the study of the East Cross Court, he found a young man lying on his back on the bed near the wall. These deliberately dressed princes and nobles all tried their best to choose the birds from the screen. On the way to Xiangfu, Wang Xizhi repeatedly enjoyed the ancient tablet of Cai Yong, a famous calligrapher in the Eastern Han Dynasty. He was so addicted that he didn't take anything to heart and forgot all about the blind date. When he hurried to Xiangfu, because it was too hot, he took off his coat, bared his chest and abdomen, drank tea and thought about Cai Yong's calligraphy. Ruanyu was shocked to see him look like this, and asked him nothing. Later, Ruan Yu told Chi Jian about Wang Xizhi's bare chest and abdomen. Chi Jian couldn't help clapping his hands and said, "That's true! What a wayward, frank and open-minded son! " When the housekeeper of Xi's mansion returned to the mansion, she said to Xi Taiwei, "When I heard that Xi's mansion was looking for a husband, there were more than 2 young sons in the mansion, and they were all scrambling for each other. Only one son was lying on the east bed, and nothing happened." Chi Jian said, "Haha, I'm going to choose him!" When Chi Jian came to Wangfu, he saw that this man was both open-minded and elegant, with both talents and looks. He got a dowry on the spot and chose him as his son-in-law. This is how the saying "the son-in-law in the east bed" came about. This "son-in-law" Wang Xizhi later became a famous calligrapher, and was later called the "Book Saint".
