For reasons of space, I recommend the reading methods of three famous writers.
First, repeat, copy and play.
Gu, a thinker in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, had a good reading method. He usually studies in winter and reviews books he read in winter in spring. Read books in summer and review books in summer in autumn. Reading and review are carried out in stages, which effectively enhances the effect of memory.
He has to copy books by hand, so he won't read without writing or ink. And his review method is to test people's memory. He asked others to read the book to be reviewed, and recalled what he remembered while listening. If he finds something different from what others read, he will consult the book immediately and correct it in time.
Second, only take notes, not bookkeeping.
Mr. Qian Zhongshu is often praised as a photographic memory. In fact, photographic memory is not innate, but his profound notes. Teacher Qian chooses a good book to read and takes notes while reading it.
Reading a good book once is not enough. He will read it again and again, and every time he reads it, he has to add something to his notebook, so he takes very careful notes and spends far more time than reading.
Because Mr. Qian's notes are very good, he can usually handle them after reading the book. Borrowed books are returned, bought books are given away, and a large number of reading notes are stored at home, but the number of books is not much.
Third, copy it back for consultation.
Write it down and recite it. This method sounds stupid and difficult. But there is a great writer who achieved himself in this way. He is Nobel Prize in Literature winner Kenzaburo Oe.
Don't underestimate stupid methods, don't underestimate slow work, and the method of celebrity success is usually not a quick method. Mr. Dajiang cherishes good books, because they were not too rich in those years. Therefore, whether he sees interesting or interesting chapters and paragraphs in textbooks or ordinary books, he will copy them in his notebook and recite them.
His method of reading after class is also very good. For example, if he finds interesting words or articles, if they are extracted from books, he will try to find out which book the articles belong to, and then try to buy or borrow this book and read it carefully.
Learn from each other and be a conscientious person. Welcome to Pepe.
