Me, add a meal for everyone.
Did you see this message I just sent? Acceptance, completion is better than perfection, staying in the present and being aware.
This was shared by calligraphy teacher Abu in our calligraphy hundred-day camp last night. I think it is not only for calligraphy, but also for us to speak, write, make sounds and so on.
What should we accept from ourselves for calligraphy practice? It's that I'm not doing well at the moment. For example, when I started writing at the beginning of 20 19, that word was called ugly. Really ugly. I couldn't bear to see it myself, but I had to, because that's what I was like at that time.
I must accept my shortcomings and then take action. 2065438+In early 2009, I studied calligraphy with Mr. Abu's video class. Everyone's old comrades should know that I will dry my words from time to time, although it is ugly.
Being able to accept my imperfections and take action step by step, everyone should see that my handwriting is much better now than in the past.
Extrapolation to other fields is the same, just like I practice my voice, just like I practice my speech. There were all kinds of disappointments at first, but great progress has been made in recent years, and everyone should feel it.
The second is that completion is better than perfection. Should I always think about eating a fat man? I can write it as soon as I write it Whether writing or writing an article, I can say yes as soon as I open my mouth. No matter what occasion, it is hard to expect to eat a fat man in one bite. Everyone should know.
So what should we do? It is to finish first, then it can be perfect, and it can't be perfect without completion.
Just like where we want to go, we have to start first, and it is possible to get there when we start. How can we get there if you don't even walk without starting?
The third is to live in the present.
The meaning of living in the present is to do the present well. For example, I just practiced this cross, or this point, which is really practiced countless times. Write it again when practicing, compare it, and write it again when you find that you have not mastered it.
Not yet, write it again, over and over again, and gradually get a little feeling. You may not see much progress at first, but after a long time, progress is already in it.
The fourth is consciousness.
What is awareness? Is to keep an introspective heart at all times, realize what you see, and then correct it.
Let's take calligraphy for example. If you write carefully, you will find that the teacher's writing is really beautiful. It was really enjoyable.
But this is not the case when I write it myself. At this time, we are not denying ourselves.
But by careful comparison, can you see the gap? Why don't I write like this? What is the difference?
Three levels and five degrees
For writing, I pay attention to three levels and five degrees. Last time I shared it, the three levels are parallel, balanced and average.
Five degrees are length, angle, strength, radian and speed, all of which are related to whether they look good or not.
Contrast bit by bit, correct slowly, slow down, slow down first, then accelerate. Everyone knows that practice makes perfect. Slow down first and then get up quickly. Don't rush for success at first, haste makes waste.
It is the same reason that we practice oral English, pronunciation and writing. Slow down and ponder, understand carefully and see the gap in the details.
To achieve the above four points, I believe that our progress will not be small, nor will we be persistent, just as we said today, we will stick to the same word, so the future can be expected.
Well, this is my impromptu meal. Thank you for listening. I hope it will help comrades. It doesn't matter whether you practice handwriting or not. You can act if you want.
Sounds, words and words are the same, and so are other things we do. Trust me, it's right. Work hard.
