Calligraphy is no good-Zen
I. Origin
Zen calligraphy art (referred to as "Zen calligraphy school" and "Zen calligraphy" for short) was first advocated by myself (Shi) on 1990. 1March, 992, I held my first solo exhibition of Zen books in Osaka, Kyoto and other places in Japan, and gave a speech exchange on Zen book creation, which once attracted the attention of Japanese book circles. 1997, my Zen book was first published on the cover of the third issue of Fa Yin magazine of the Chinese Buddhist Association. 1998 "friends of calligraphy" magazine published a declaration of Zen; From 65438 to 0999, he went to the southwest of China to spread Zen and began to cultivate Zen disciples.
First, the definition of Zen school
Zen Book is a school of calligraphy art that combines China's Zen philosophy, Zen realm and Chinese character line art. Its essence can be summarized as four sentences: "Let go of affectation, break the tone of the box, keep the unity of heart and hand, and be quiet and natural".
Second, the purpose of creation
Attach importance to nature and avoid affectation;
Heavy cleaning, avoid fire and dryness;
Pay attention to innocence and avoid kitsch.
Third, the creative principles:
Highlight the ontological characteristics of calligraphy as the art of line;
Heart and hand are connected, books are like heart marks, relax body and mind, and prosper from the heart;
Put down the technique, break the tone of the frame, return to simplicity and govern by doing nothing;
Formal beauty, interest, empty and guilty.
