Preface to the Holy Religion: The full name is Preface to the Holy Religion in Tang Sanzang, written by Emperor Taizong. It was first written by Chu Suiliang, one of the four great calligraphers in the early Tang Dynasty, and is called "Preface to the Holy Teaching of Yanta". Later, Shaman Huairen collected characters from Wang Xizhi's calligraphy.
Carved into an inscription, it is called Preface to the Right Army of Tang Dynasty or Preface to Wang Xizhi's Collection of Huairen, and it is also called Preface to seven buddha's Holy Education because of the seven Buddha statues carved horizontally at the head of the monument.

In February, the 19th year of Zhenguan (AD 645), Master Xuanzang came to Chang 'an with Brahma Buddhist scriptures after 17 years of seeking dharma in India. Emperor Taizong was very happy to see him. In March of that year, Xuanzang was ordered to live in Hongfu Temple and engage in the translation of classics. In the 22nd year of Zhenguan (AD 648), Emperor Taizong personally prefaced it, and the Crown Prince (Li Zhi, later Tang Gaozong) made comments. This preface was recorded.
