Peng Jun’s main artistic experience

When he was young, he learned sketching and oil painting from the famous Chinese painter Liu Sanduo. At the age of 14, he learned traditional Chinese painting from Luo Jun, a disciple of the famous painter Liu Yiyuan. When he was 10 years old, he was inspired to calligraphy by his father Peng Gongrang (a member of the Chinese Poetry Association, a member of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Society, and the former chairman of the Xianning Workers' Calligraphy and Painting Association). He studied four regular scripts and became the second king. Later, he was mentored by the famous Chinese calligrapher Jin Boxing. When he was a child, he studied seal cutting under Zhang Kebin, a famous Hubei seal carving master. He studied Han seal, and later studied under Qi Baishi. Now he studies under Yin Zhigang, a disciple of Cao Li'an, a famous contemporary Chinese calligrapher, painter and seal carver. He joined the army in 1990 and served as the secretary of the special agent company of the 36994 unit and the secretary of the political department. In 1992, he was transferred to the headquarters of the Guangkong unit 86432. He was discharged from the army in December 1993. In 1997, he was admitted to the School of Liberal Arts of Hubei University, majoring in Chinese language and literature. Since 2004, he has been working as a professional calligrapher and painter in Dafen Village, Shenzhen for many years, and most of his works are collected by overseas people.
