Except for the Big Buddha Temple in Hongguang Mountain and Hongshan Park (although these two places are temples, they are approved as tourist attractions, so there are no resident monks), other temples are acceptable, such as Shuimogou Qingquan Temple in Qingquan Temple and Xisheng Guanyin Temple in Changji People's Park can be used for refuge. I personally recommend going to Changji Guanyin Temple for refuge, because Qingquan Temple has been semi-commercialized (you know). The abbot of Changji Guanyin Temple, Master Zhengdao (also known as "Ordinary Master"), is not only a monk with upright faith and dharma, but also a doctor of Buddhism. He is currently the monk with the highest cultivation level in Xinjiang.
If they are not too far away, Master Shengzhao of Nanshan Faming Temple and Master Daojin of Manas Buddha Temple are both very good masters.
The Three Jewels Refuge Ceremony is basically held on the first and fifteenth day of every month. Go to the living room to register first, and bring your ID card, copy, and two head photos. The cost of the refuge certificate is 5-20. Yuan does not vary. Zhike monks, volunteers in the guest hall, and lay people will help you arrange your time.
There is a concise version of the conversion process, where the mage takes you through it alone; the solemn version is rare and requires a certain number of people.
