What are the unique landscapes in Shimendong Scenic Area in Zhejiang?

It is said that during the Eastern Jin Dynasty, there was such a rich young man who was playful by nature. I like traveling around mountains and rivers, and I like dancing and writing. After playing more and traveling more and doing more, I started writing poetry. He wrote whatever he saw, no matter what, and his writing style was very different from other writers of the same period.

Over time, his way of writing poetry became its own, and over time, he became the originator of the landscape poetry school.

This person is Xie Lingyun. The famous poet Xie Lingyun has a large number of fans and followers, including another famous poet Li Bai.

Li Bai even wrote a poem for him: Wearing Xie Gong's clogs on his feet, he climbed the Qingyun Ladder. ?

Of course, the places where Xie Lingyun stepped on must be covered by the sea and the sun, and the sky is full of chickens. For example, I visited Jiangxin Island in Wenzhou in October, or Fangshan in Wenling in November? This time in Qingtian, Lishui, I followed Xie Gong's lead and went to such a beautiful place.

Shimen Cave, a national forest park, has a history of nearly 1,600 years since Xie Lingyun first discovered it. There are several scenic spots worth seeing in Shimendong Scenic Area. First, it is a scenic spot with the highest concentration of cliff carvings in the Jiangnan area. Countless literati have left their mark here. They are: Li Bai, Shen Kuo, Tang Xianzu, Qianlong, Guo Moruo?

These precious? The traces are mostly stone carvings and stele inscriptions, there are 117 of them, and they span a long time. Just imagine, people from the Tang Dynasty came here and looked at the stone carvings left by celebrities in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, and they would be as excited as we are. Look at the mood of Tang Dynasty stone carvings.

The span of more than 1,500 years between these stone carvings is rare in Jiangsu and Zhejiang.

Second, there are 36 small caves in Taoism, and this is the 30th cave. ?The 30th Qingtian Cave, forty-five miles around, is called Qingtian Dahetian. It is located in Qingtian County, Chuzhou, and is under the rule of Fu Zhenren. In Taoism, the "Dongtian Paradise" is called a part of the fairyland. Most of them are famous mountains and holy waters where gods seem to live. Taoist priests also choose to practice in such places, hoping to achieve enlightenment and become immortals as soon as possible. Only when you become an immortal can you ascend to heaven early along the Heavenly Road in the Cave.

Thirdly, Liu Bowen, the founding father who assisted Zhu Yuanzhang to bring peace to the world, left many stories here. It is said that Liu Ji came here to study when he was a teenager. Since he was only a child, it was common for him to be naughty and troublesome. One time, he skipped class and saw a young woman washing her gauze by the water on the edge of a bridge. The sand was piled up like a hill. Liu Bowen sighed: With so many clothes, when will I be able to wash them all? The woman said: In ancient times, an iron pestle could be ground into a needle. Such a small amount of yarn could be washed quickly. Liu Ji felt quite ashamed after hearing this. Even the ignorant Huan Shanu understood this truth, but he had been wasting his time. From then on, Liu Ji began to study hard. At the same time, he also had another name: Baiwen. And "Bai" and "Bo" are pseudonyms, so the name "Liu Bowen" was passed down.

Fourth, the waterfalls here are spectacular, the climate is pleasant, you can go sightseeing, take vacations, stay healthy, and it also has a very cultural atmosphere. The waterfall is divided into five levels. We only saw the last level. Viewed from the air, the five-level waterfall is long and spectacular, falling into Yutan.

Fifth, there is Shimen Academy, the fifth largest academy besides the four ancient academies of Yuelu Academy, Bailudong Academy, Songyang Academy, and Yingtian Academy.

In ancient times, academies generally had three major functions: offering sacrifices, giving lectures, and collecting books. The architectural style of Shimen Academy is very "typical", it is a courtyard.

This is where young Liu Ji studied. Later generations often say that Liu Ji? He knew five hundred years before and five hundred years later? He assisted Zhu Yuanzhang to bring peace to the world and created the Ming Dynasty's three hundred years of foundation. How could he know that such great wisdom and super military ability were not in Shimen? Did you develop it through academy studies? It is true that the study experience at Shimen Academy had an important impact on Liu Ji's life.

Sixth, there is a cultural corridor of inscriptions. 29 steles, mainly works from the Ming and Qing dynasties, are lined up along the corridor, making them a valuable cultural heritage.

The inscribers of these works include famous calligraphers and seal carvers, outstanding modern poets, governors and cabinet bachelors of the Ming Dynasty, and first-class imperial envoys of the Qing Dynasty. Guo Moruo came to Shimen in the 1960s. Cave, after visiting Shimen Cave, I took the opportunity to compose a poem: "Crossing Shimen Ferry, there is a temple in Liu Ji and a waterfall hanging from the sky. The coolness makes the poem happy." ?It has become the most recent inscription in the scenic area and the latest inscription in history.

Seventh, there are still 6 stone monuments protected at the original site, which means that this monument has not been moved for hundreds or thousands of years since it was erected here.

These stone carvings stand under the waterfall. Most of them are written in vigorous and powerful writing with different techniques. The content is a praise of the waterfall. They span the Ming and Qing dynasties and are very precious cultural heritage. There are too many unpopular tourist destinations in Lishui that are not well-known, such as Shimen Cave. There is no road into the scenic spot. You must take a boat and cross a river to enter. I wonder if Liu Bowen, who studied here at Shimen Academy when he was young, also followed this path?
