The school strives to pursue the goal of "four highs" (high-quality facilities, high-quality teachers, high-quality management and high-quality achievements), with the goal of "30%" (so that every student can become an adult and become a talent). This requires teachers to face all students, improve their quality in an all-round way and promote their all-round development; You should also have the idea and concept of lifelong education. Teachers should fully embody the idea of lifelong education in the determination of course content, the selection of knowledge points and the application of teaching methods, and further develop and enrich the original educational thought in the combination of theory and practice, so as to make it a vital school soul. For example, the Chinese Department links teaching with students' lifelong development, makes overall planning, and strives to make the graduates of our school achieve the "four ones" language literacy goals through three years of Chinese teaching: fluent Mandarin, neat and standardized words, independent reading habits, orderly words and rich content. Four evaluation schemes and Chinese literacy development record cards are used to follow up students for three years to promote the formation of students' Chinese literacy. Two research papers of Chinese Department won national awards, and many teaching and scientific research achievements won provincial and municipal awards. The Biology Department of our school is actively committed to how to build a "brand discipline" and take the road of "teaching, scientific research and teaching in China". Seven projects were approved at the municipal level and many achievements were awarded at the district level. Other disciplines have also made gratifying achievements. In the college entrance examination in 2005, Guan Guan won the first prize in Panyu District's political single subject with 824 points.
In the past two years, the articles published by school staff in newspapers and periodicals at home and abroad and the articles obtained by participating in the appraisal of papers of various academic societies have reached 128, of which 28 are national, 82 are provincial 18 and 82 are urban. The school history section integrates teachers' personal teaching resources with the teaching resources of the network resource library, realizes the sharing of resources such as lesson preparation, examination questions, teaching and research, liberates teachers from repetitive work, gives teachers more time to design classroom teaching and improves the quality of lesson preparation. At present, the school teachers have designed and developed 2665 teaching courseware for various subjects. The third is the integration of information technology and teaching content. Audio, pictures and other resources needed for teaching content are edited by computer to form teaching courseware, and then combined with teaching objects and teaching experiments to realize the integration of information technology and teaching content. 5. Creating characteristic education is the supporting point of running a school.
The school regards building characteristic education as the carrier and orientation of the brand. In recent years, the school's characteristic education has had a wide impact on society. In 200 1 year, the higher authorities approved Yushan Senior High School to recruit the first art specialty students, which opened the prelude to the school's establishment of a characteristic school for art education.
