Couplet:
The breeze is bright and the moon is bright, and the spring breeze blows the willows.
The drizzle is daytime, and the autumn rain moistens the lake embankment.
------From the poem "Clouds Make Rain"
"Clouds Make Rain"?
Clouds make rain, and snow follows the wind.
The tide rises and falls, the moon waxes and wanes.
The red sun hangs in the sky, reflecting the clear sky at night.
The breeze blows in the willows, and the drizzle hits the lotus pods.
Translation:
Where there are clouds, there is rain; where there is soil, there are fields. Time flies, and time flies by. Only true love can make people have bright eyes and see. Clear right from wrong. Only when you have a generous heart can you live a happy life.
Su Shi once said two sentences: The gentle breeze supports the thin willows, and the pale moon loses the plum blossoms. The word "lost" is used very classically.
