Shi is the deputy secretary-general of Heilongjiang Calligraphers' Activity Association and the deputy director of Heilongjiang Calligraphers' Activity Center. He used to be the director of the creative research department of Heilongjiang Calligraphers Association and a full-time researcher of calligraphy and seal cutting. This person was not selected in the list of Dahongpao painters.
