Understand the poetry of Biwu

I know Biwu's poems as follows:

During the revolutionary war years, Comrade Dong Biwu was successively praised as one of the "Five Old Men in Soviet Area" and "Five Old Men in Yan 'an". Dong Lao not only made outstanding contributions to China's revolution and construction, but also had high attainments in China's classical poetry, calligraphy and cultural history. Recently, I read Dong Lao's poems, and I was deeply educated and deeply touched. After the founding of New China, Dong Lao paid great attention to the greening work and strongly advocated afforestation.

He planted green seeds in people's hearts by writing poems about afforestation, and in his own words, he shared some work for afforestation, so that more people could participate in the great cause of greening the motherland. In January 1964, 79-year-old Dong Lao visited Hubei, during which he paid close attention to forestry all the time and thought about its development.

He talked about two suggestions at the Hubei Forestry Symposium, all of which were written in the form of poems, which were easy to understand and fascinating. On January 8th, he wrote a poem "Forestry in Rural Areas Should be Greatly Developed" with 32 lines, in which he put forward complete suggestions on tree planting in rural areas, especially the issue of forest right, encouraged the determination of forest right, and adhered to the policy of "whoever plants it"

the trees planted by farmers should be owned by individuals, so as to improve the enthusiasm of people for tree planting. Today, these views are still very instructive. In his poem, he wrote: "According to the regulations, forest rights are both private and public. Collective teams make conventions, and the responsibility of forest protection is high. It's a needle at the sight of a seam, and the land is not free ... For thirty years, it's full of green eyes.

All trees are useful, and their resources are inexhaustible. " On January 14th, Dong Lao wrote a poem "Planting Trees by Railways and Highways", which consists of 56 lines and 5 parts. Taking poetry as a substitute, he expounded the significance of road greening for the benefit of the country and the people. "Beside the railway and highway, there is potential for planting trees ... with beautiful scenery, it is advisable to have it or not. From the economic point of view, the road must be in harmony with the trees ... There are 5, in the road, and hundreds of millions are true.
