Chalk characters contain several kinds of calligraphy.
Strictly speaking, you can write countless kinds. But for the teacher's chalk characters, they are generally line-shaped. Regular script is too slow, and cursive script is difficult for ordinary students to read. Therefore, chalk characters are generally based on running water characters. Writing speed is faster than regular script, but easier to identify than cursive script. As for seal script, grass is even less practical in chalk characters.
