Bama has successively won nine national honors, such as China's hometown of longevity, China's hometown of calligraphy, China's ace tourist destination, China's ace tourist scenic spot, the top ten most beautiful towns in China, the ten most livable towns, and the national safe and smooth county, and autonomous regions such as Guangxi excellent tourist county, Guangxi advanced cultural county, Guangxi double-support model county, Guangxi county economic development and progress county, Guangxi new rural construction science and technology demonstration county.
Bama has established a provincial demonstration county of national tourism standardization, a national demonstration county of leisure agriculture and rural tourism, and has become a pilot county of ecological civilization demonstration project in western China, a national demonstration area of poverty alleviation through tourism, a designated poverty alleviation county by the National Tourism Administration, and a county of the Panyang River Basin in Bama, Guangxi, which is rated as a national county tourism star and one of the top ten leisure tourism destinations in Guangxi.
