What is "Tao Zi"
"Daozi" is a newly invented phonetic alphabet, which can be divided into Mandarin pronunciation and Cantonese pronunciation, and is composed of initials and finals. Guoyin has 25 initials and 33 finals; Cantonese has 2/kloc-0 initials and 33 finals. Every word is written one by one, soon. Its pinyin method is completely based on the natural vocal function of human beings, so it is simple and easy to learn. It's like "the Tao is followed by people, and the reason is clear. It's nothing more than following the natural way, so it's called' Tao Zi'". It has no religious, political or partisan color and is purely for charity. The advantage of "Tao Zi" is that it is easy to learn.
Chen Jinglun Middle School, located in Yucai Road, Huicheng, Xinhui District, has a new school board. Many passers-by were surprised to find that in addition to the Chinese characters and English signs of "Chen Jinglun Middle School", some strange red graphic symbols were added to the marble school board. According to the reporter's understanding, it turns out that these symbols are pinyin characters invented by Mr. Chen Jinglun, an honorary citizen of Xinhui District-"inverted characters".
Teacher Zhang, who is engaged in the research and promotion of "rice" in middle school, said that the rice symbol was invented by Mr. Wang's family. The pronunciation of these rice on the school board is the same as that of pinyin characters, so it is called "middle school".
It is understood that "Daozi" has a history of one hundred years. After the Opium War, China became a semi-colonial and semi-feudal society. In order to save the nation and revitalize China, some patriotic intellectuals put forward the idea of saving the country through education. Liang Qichao, Shen Xue, Lu Taizhang and Wang Zhao all pointed out that the difficulty of Chinese characters is the reason why education cannot be popularized. So a movement of "syncopation" was launched. My grandfather, Chen, began to improve his writing. During the Republic of China, Mr. Chen Ruiqi inherited his father's will and successfully invented the word "Tao" to educate the poor free of charge. At that time, there were quite a number of schemes to cut the sound, and only one or two of Chen's "Taoist and Chinese styles" were circulated in the Pearl River Delta region of Guangdong. Later, due to the war, the promotion of "Daozi" was once interrupted. In 1970s and 1980s, Mr. Chen Jinglun was determined to popularize the word "Tao" on a wider scale, so he invested heavily in developing programs. At present, "Tao Zi" has become the learning content of many students in the second classroom, and it is popular in many schools in China.
Chen:
One of the pioneers of the "word segmentation" movement
Mr. Chen was a poor farmer in Xinhui in the late Qing Dynasty. Later, he went to Hong Kong to make a living and his life improved. Together with patriotic intellectuals, he educated and saved the country. He realized that China's backwardness was due to the illiteracy of most people in China, so he began to improve his writing level and became one of the pioneers of the "Pinyin Character" movement. It is understood that the Pinyin movement of Chinese characters in China began with the Pinyin movement in the late Qing Dynasty.
According to the website of China Foshan, there are Oracle Bone Inscriptions, Tadpole, Zhong Ding inscriptions, drum tablets, seal script, official script, regular script and cursive script. At the end of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, characters similar to tadpoles appeared in Foshan, with only one or two strokes of calligraphy. For example, the word "Zhong" is written in the shape of "B". At that time, a Daozi Research Association (now Fuxian Road Health Center) was established diagonally opposite to Pan Xiang in pholiota adiposa Street, Foshan Town. Teachers gave free lectures, distributed textbooks to students, and read words with D, I, sh and other letters. At that time, Chengbo Primary School was located under the gate of Chongqingli, and enrolled students to study Daozi for free. At that time, many people entered the society to learn this writing method. About ten years of the Republic of China (192 1), the Vietnamese army occupied Wuzhou to crusade against Guangxi warlord Lu Rongting. Due to the war, Daozi social school was closed.
Chen Ruiqi:
More than 20 "Chengbo Yi School" have been established.
Mr. Chen Ruiqi is Chen's son. At the age of 30, he began to take charge of rice shop business in Hong Kong and Vietnam. Later, he developed real estate construction and became a famous industrialist, philanthropist and patriot. He founded more than 20 "Cheng Boyi Schools" in his hometown of Luokeng, Huicheng, Jiangmen, Guangfo, Hong Kong and Macao to teach the poor literacy for free.
While running a wholly-owned school, Chen Ruiqi continued to strive to improve the level of Chinese characters. 1933, Chen Ruiqi invented a pinyin "Daozi" based on the "Daozi" created by his father Chen, and promoted it with his son "phonology" expert Chen Zimin during the Republic of China. From China to Viet Nam, from home to abroad, he did a lot of hard work and established "Daozi".
Mr. Chen Ruiqi said on various occasions that the word "Tao" was invented to improve the level of writing and popularize education, without any political, partisan or religious color.
Mr. Chen Ruiqi hired nearly a thousand employees to develop education and made great efforts to popularize the word "Tao", and spent countless money. 1933 founded more than 20 "Chengbo Free Schools" in Guangzhou, Foshan, Jiangmen, Hong Kong, Macao and Xinhui. In memory of his father Chen, Chen Ruiqi followed his thought and made all students go to school free of charge so that the poor could read and write quickly. Students who have been trained by Daozi can get a "Daozi diploma" and can be employed in the factory founded by Mr. Chen Ruiqi. This kindness didn't end until War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression broke out. Since then, Chen Ruiqi has also published dictionaries such as Tao Chinese Characters, including more than 10,000 words. After adding five tones to this word, it can also spell Guangzhou.
Later, Chinese mainland was liberated, but Mr. Chen Ruiqi died prematurely in 1950, which had a great impact on the business of the Chen family. As the business of the Chen family is concentrated in Hongkong and Southeast Asia, the word "Dao" is no longer popular in mainland China, and the word "Dao" is unknown in mainland China.
Chen Jinglun:
Improve and popularize with computer.
Chen Jinglun, the son of Chen Ruiqi, has been devoted to the improvement of Tao Zi. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, he studied Tao Zi for more than 60 years from 65438 to 0946, and renamed it China Chen Pinyin Zi.
1978, it was still difficult to process Chinese characters by computer at that time. Chen Jinglun invented the "Hanka of China Pinyin" and became the forerunner of Chinese computerized processing. The typing speed was several times faster than before. At that time, it coincided with the reform and opening up of the mainland. He led experts to Tsinghua University Computer Research Institute for many times, and jointly developed "Chen Pinyin Input Method and Chinese Typesetting Editing System" with the scholars of the Institute. After several revisions, a large number of books for study and use have been printed, and more than 6,000 "Chen Chinese Pinyin Characters" have been completed.
In the mid-1980s, Chen's Chinese and English computer typewriter was developed on the basis of the technology of "Chen's Chinese Pinyin Chinese Characters". In order to make computers available to mainland people who are familiar with them, Chen Jinglun spent more than 50 million yuan to register and set up "Chen Jinglun Co., Ltd." in Hong Kong to study and promote the application of this kind of computer. In 2000, we produced a multimedia teaching CD of "Chen Hanyu Pinyin" with professionals in Hong Kong, which combined the teaching and use of "Chen Hanyu Pinyin", and everyone who used it said it was very easy to use.
The word "Tao" is widely circulated.
Starting from 1978, Chen Jinglun promoted Daozi throughout the country. At present, there are more than 654.38 million students at home and abroad.
In September 2007, Chen Jinglun returned to his hometown and personally promoted the "rice" input method to students to prepare for the upcoming "rice" Chinese Pinyin Application Competition. On the same day, in Chen Jinglun Middle School, 83-year-old Chen Jinglun took to the podium with great interest, introduced the invention and popularization of "rice" to the students, and tapped the computer keyboard to demonstrate the use of rice input method.
According to reports, as early as 1996 1, Xinhui Chen Jinglun Middle School held the first "Daozi" class, which was taught by Chen Baohong, a Hong Kong teacher. Now, more and more students take learning Daozi as their second class, and students also install Daozi program on their computers at home. Students in this school attend a "Daozi" training class once a week. A few years ago, Chen Jinglun sent a letter of recommendation to the principals of primary and secondary schools at home and abroad to study Daozi. At present, more and more students are studying Daozi.
