"Insects, fish, turtles and phoenixes" - personal guess.
In the first character on the right, I think there are many derived strokes, which are derived strokes that are matched with other characters. The single character among them should be the word "worm". The omitted strokes are masked as shown above.
The second character is the ancient font of "鱼". From top to bottom, it is: fish head, fish body (fins on both sides), and fish tail.
The third character is "turtle". On the right side of the center is the "turtle shell" in hieroglyphics.
The fourth character is "wind". There is also a "worm" in the middle, which is covered and complicated with the word "fan" as an outer frame. However, the ancient Chinese character "风风风***意" should be interpreted as "phoenix" here.
Since the reference material I have is a dictionary of ancient characters, I have not found a complete correspondence for the application font as shown in the picture. Therefore, the above is just a personal opinion and does not mean it is the "correct answer"...
