Brief introduction of Liu Ruiming's art

Contemporary calligrapher. Over the years, I have been copying posts, focusing on innovation and constantly using pens. His works have profound foundation and distinctive personality, and have been well received by Qi Gong, Shen Peng, Li Duo and Ouyang Zhongshi. In recent years, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's victory, he wrote Mao Zedong's On Protracted War, which is 1 189 meters long and has about 50,000 words. In the summer of 2007, he wrote a 100-meter-long Statement of the Beijing Olympic Bid Delegation for BOCOG. On July 25th, 2009, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the founding of New China and the successful hosting of the Beijing Olympic Games 1 anniversary, the launching ceremony of "Rui Liu's exhibition of nearly 20,000 works of writing the names of torchbearers of the Beijing Olympic Games" was held in Jin Pinxuan, Beijing. On May 4th, 2008, when the Olympic torch relay started in Sanya, Hainan, Liu Ruiming worked 14 or 15 hours a day to record the brilliant moments of each torchbearer. It took 14 months to complete this calligraphy work with a length of 26 kilometers and nearly 600,000 words.

Liu Ruiming, born in June, 1958, owner of Sunshine Bookstore. He likes calligraphy since he was a child. He inherited the two kings and admired Xu and Su. His works are rough and bold, which constitutes a solid tone for calligraphers; Elegance, exquisiteness and statutes run through the lines of the works. Calligraphers such as Qi Gong, Shen Peng, Li Duo and Ouyang Zhongshi once spoke highly of his calligraphy, praising him for his "profound foundation, tradition, inheritance and distinctive personality, and he was very happy to win this style". Liu Ruiming's calligraphy works are very rich. In 2005, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's victory, he spent 19 days writing Mao Zedong's classic military work On Protracted War. In 2007, he wrote the 100-meter-long "Full Statement of Beijing Olympic Bid Delegation"; On May 4th, 2008, starting from the torch relay in Sanya, Hainan, he spent one year writing "Torch Glory China Calligraphy"-a 26-kilometer scroll with the names of nearly 20,000 Beijing Olympic torchbearers written by Liu Ruiming, which created a miracle in the history of calligraphy in China. Liu Ruiming held many exhibitions of his personal calligraphy works in Beijing and published several collections of calligraphy works. His works have been widely collected by the Great Hall of the People, Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, Zhongnanhai, Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, state organs, all walks of life and overseas people. Liu Ruiming is the president of China Art Creation Institute and the executive president of National Olympic Painting and Calligraphy Institute. Liu Ruiming is a well-deserved middle-aged calligrapher of contemporary strength school in China.
