Kongxi Ancient Village is located in Kongcun, *** Village Committee, Lishui Town, Nanhai District, Foshan City, at the exit of Lihe Highway on the North Line of Foshan First Ring Road. In the ninth year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (AD 1411), in order to avoid the war, Kong Shitong, the 58th grandson of Confucius, who was originally from Qufu, Shandong, moved here with his sons Yanjun and Yanzhang from Rainbow Bridge in Guangzhou to build a village. It has been 604 years since then. The current population The size is about 310 people. The ancient residences in the village belong to the Qing Dynasty buildings and are well preserved. The entire building complex covers an area of ??18.89 acres and has 80 residential buildings, designed as seven lanes and eight rows. The lane runs north-south, 1.76 meters wide and 124.62 meters long. Between the first five buildings and the last five buildings in each row is the central lane, running east-west, 2.32 meters wide and 101.12 meters long. In August 2010, Kongxi Ancient Village was rated as one of the top ten ancient villages in Nanhai District. In September 2012, it became the third batch of ancient villages in Guangdong Province (Guangdong Province Folk Cultural Heritage Rescue Project).

The Holy Family Temple: Rebuilt in the 15th year of the Republic of China (1926), and renovated in 1998 with donations from Hong Kong Kong On Tao Foundation. The building has a vertical axis layout, with a hard top, gables, brick and wood structure, one building facing south and one building with three entrances. The main building is 13.64 meters wide, with Qingyun Lane and side rooms on both sides. The east and west Qingyun Lanes are both 1.73 meters wide, and the east and west side rooms are both 6.05 meters wide. The main width of the temple is 29.2 meters, and the depth is 44 meters. The construction area is 1284.8 square meters and the height is 9 meters. The title on the forehead of the vertical book is: "The Holy Family Temple", and the couplet on the door: "Zu Dou is suitable for eternity, and it is one person in ancient and modern times." The main entrance wall is made of water-polished blue bricks, and the eaves are blue glazed tiles. The lower part is carved with figures and flowers. The "horse face" is made of five beams, with a bell and drum platform on each side. The bell and drum platform and the ground are paved with granite. The first entrance is a screen with square brick paving and five beams. The wooden frames on the eaves are decorated with brackets and beams. The second and third entrances are halls with square brick paving. There are four wooden pillars and four beams in the hall. The wooden beams are framed with geometric flower frames. A plaque is hung in the middle of the second entrance: "Jade Book". Hall". There is a sun-shaped patio between the entrance and the entrance, both paved with granite blocks. There are two square stone pillars on the horse face, the second entrance, the front eaves of the third entrance and the back eaves of the first entrance, and there are two round stone pillars on the back eaves of the second entrance. The buildings on both sides of the main building are symmetrical, with wing rooms, corridors, open-air gardens, corridors, and wing rooms in order.
