Once you fall in love with Wei Bei, you don't want to write about Tang Jie. What is the reason?

Weibei and Tang Kai are two schools in regular script. Weibei originated in Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties. Judging from the unearthed cultural relics, Wei Bei has always been the key font style in cliff stone carvings, inscriptions and epitaphs, indicating that the engraver at that time was this design style, which had nothing to do with the writer. This kind of thing was especially true in the period of Wang Xizhi, and so were the epitaphs of Wang and Xie unearthed in the same period. If Guo Yun still uses this to judge Lanting. I think Weibei is not a written regular script, but an engraved regular script. Because of the different carving levels, the design style has changed greatly.

Tang Kai's sketching is meticulous. Every painting has a clear beginning, and it is impossible to write it without a strong mind. Weibei belongs to the font style before the formation of regular script, and its outline is not perfect, which largely reflects the writer's own writing characteristics. For students, both the difficulty coefficient of study and training and the writing situation are easier and more relaxed than those in Tang Kai. In addition, in reality, even if Tang Kai's works are well written, the probability of entering the exhibition is not as high as that of Wei Bei. Therefore, many people (especially those who care about entering the exhibition) would rather learn to defend the North than learn from Tang Kai.

This is also a different view of appreciation. However, the favorite calligraphers have different styles, and they have been studying and training Wei Bei for more than ten years, which has been popular for some time. Originally speaking of regular script, it was Tang Kai. There are many kinds of regular script now, and Kai Wei has continued to do it at book fairs in recent years. Wei Kai, the calligraphy style in the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, changed from Li to Kai, with a changeable shape, which was dominated by square and weight. It was common in stone carvings, cliff carvings and Buddha statues, also known as the Western Han Dynasty style. The pen is vigorous, the posture jumps down, the length and size are different, the foliage is flourishing, and it is wonderful, and it turns into neatness, which is extremely wonderful.

Because of the diversity and complexity of Wei Bei, it is poetic, and there is no standard volume, so the writer is particularly stubborn and innocent, and has a stroke of modeling design, because the stroke of stone carving is beyond the reach of soft-pen calligraphy books. Tang Kai's superb and rigorous discipline, lively and vivid brand image and emotional intelligence inspired him. As a result, with the help of refrigeration and book fair, regular script is humanized, and the development trend is that Wei Kairong's Tang script is a random collection. Perhaps this is a small reason why he studied hard in Wei Bei and left Tang Jie.
