1. Du Fu Caotang, the former residence of Du Fu, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty in China, is located at No.37, Tsinghua Road, Qingyang District, Chengdu, Sichuan. Du Fu lived here for nearly four years and wrote more than 240 poems. Wei Zhuang, a poet in the late Tang Dynasty, discovered the former site of the thatched cottage and rebuilt it to preserve it. It was repaired and expanded in the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Du Fu Caotang covers an area of nearly 300 mu, and still completely retains the architectural pattern when it was rebuilt and expanded in the 13th year of Hongzhi in Ming Dynasty (1500) and 16th year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty (18 1 1), with zhaobi, main entrance, Dayi, Shitang Temple, Chai Men and Gongbu Temple arranged in one place.

2. The East Pavilion was originally the place where the late Tang Dezong Guo Xiang closed his former residence. After Bai Juyi won the second place in the imperial examination in the 19th year of Zhenyuan (803), he was appointed secretary of the provincial school, rented the East Pavilion and settled here. According to historical records, Bai Juyi once lived in Dongting for about three years. Bai Juyi made a lot of repairs to Dongting during his settlement. During the period of 1996, Xi Jiaotong University rebuilt Dongting in the garden between Nanyang College in the south campus and Inspirational College of Xi Jiaotong University. The architectural style is simple and elegant. Hanging above the pavilion is a plaque inscribed by Qi Gong, honorary chairman of China Calligraphers Association. Opposite the pavilion is a glazed tile D-shaped wall, which is novel and solemn. The main wall is engraved with the full text of the poet's masterpiece "Bamboo Cultivation", written by Huo, a famous professor of Shaanxi Normal University.
