The origin of the name of Haopujian

The name "Good Pujian" comes from two sources: First, it is said that the title "Good Pujian Thinking" in Kangxi of Qing Dynasty is one of the 36 scenic spots in chengde mountain resort. The phrase "the thought between the rich and the poor" comes from the story of "the thought between the rich and the poor" told by Jian Wendi in the Middle East when he entered the China Forest Garden in Shi Shuo Xin Yu: "You don't have to stay away from the gathering place, the rich and the poor have their own thoughts." Second, it is said that Qianlong went to Jiangnan six times and brought a picture book. Haopu Room is a part of the imitation picture, which Ganlong especially likes. He inscribed the couplet "The picture of a vibrant pine tree in Wei Yu, Gao Heng is welcoming a horizontal cloud", which reflects the dynamics of the long scroll painting of pine and bamboo in this garden. Emperor Qianlong was an emperor with high cultural accomplishment. He is good at painting and poetry, good at calligraphy, and has a high level of artistic appreciation. During his six southern tours, the painter of Ruyige walked with him, painted his famous garden attractions into patterns and brought them back to Beijing to imitate the royal gardens. However, transplanting the scenic spots of these famous gardens is not a copy mechanically, but based on the characteristics of buildings, flowers and trees in the north, combined with the overlapping landscape management, to reproduce the emotional appeal of Jiangnan gardens. Haopujian is a landscape that imitates the style of private gardens in the south of the Yangtze River.
