According to legend, in ancient times, it was just a barren hill and there were no plum blossoms. Later, ten beautiful women made grass here as temples, and finally got immortal, leaving ten tall plum trees, which were as bright as the morning sun and as white as snow, hence the legendary name "Ten Mei 'an". After years of artificial cultivation and breeding, the largest plum blossom garden in northern China has been built here. In 1999, it was named "the hometown of plum blossoms in China" by the Ministry of Agriculture.
