Introduction to the main attractions of Mengquan Tiger Race. What is the attraction of Hupao Mengquan?

Ditria

Before setting foot on the festival, you will reach Treedy Cliffs. I saw a carved tiger in front of me, just like a real tiger. This is where the tiger crossed the spring.

Tiger Spring is naturally formed by the terrain where tigers run. Hupao is located in the ditch rock and is surrounded by mountains such as Daci Mountain and Baihe Peak, forming a horseshoe-shaped water catchment depression.

From the geological structure point of view, the mountain rock layer in this area is Qianligang Sandstone. The rock tilts to the southeast with a gentle inclination angle of 45 degrees. Hupao Spring is just under the oblique angle of the rock formation, so the rainwater falling on the mountain seeps into the ground and turns into groundwater, which seeps out along the rock formation. This makes Hupao Spring never dry up after a severe drought. More than two liters. This is Guanquan.

At the end of the mountain road, you can go to the teahouse, where you can take a break and brew Longjing tea with the clear and pure Hupao Spring water. The tea leaves are overflowing with fragrance and refreshing taste, so they are called Pinquan.

Walking along the river, I came to the foot of Cuidi Cliff. I saw a clear spring gush out from the gap in the corner of the mountain, and it was cool. I held a clear spring in my hand and placed a five-cent coin on the water. I saw clear springs like peptone, holding a coin without sinking. This is a test spring.

Hu Meng Stone Carvings

Along the mountain path to the left of Hupao Spring, there is a group of Menghu stone carvings not far away. The sky monk has kind eyebrows and kind eyes, and he is leaning with his eyes closed. There are two tigers beside him, which are lifelike and powerful.

The entire statue is well laid out, with a combination of hard and soft lines, which is very interesting. This is the place where Dream Spring comes from. This group of dream tiger sculptures are 5 meters high and 9 meters long. They are created based on the folk legend of Tiger Moving Spring.

The old monk with white hair and silver beard, with his eyes closed and twirling Buddhist beads in his hands, was lying peacefully on the cliff. On the right, two tigers are digging holes. Clear spring water gushes out from under the tiger's paws and flows into the pool. Between the stone walls, there are four characters, "Tiger Running Spring" written by contemporary calligrapher Sha Menghai and "Dream Tiger" written by famous calligrapher Gu.

Ancestral Pagoda Courtyard

Next to the Tiger Tea Room is the Chicken Foot Pagoda. Ji Gong died here in the Song Dynasty and his bones were buried here. The five reliefs in the courtyard record Jigong's life stories, and the middle one is a portrait of Jigong's life. From left to right, these reliefs are "Jigong Fights Crickets", "Old Wood Transporting Well", "Legend of Fei Laifeng" and "Crazy Monk Sweeping Qin Hui", summarizing the main stories of Jigong's life.

The tower of this concrete building was built in the early years of the Republic of China. Later, You Benchang, a famous actor famous for playing Jigong, donated 5,000 yuan to repair and expand it, forming its current scale.

Memorial Hall

From the tea room to the front floor, you can go to the Memorial Hall of Master Hongyi. Master Hongyi ran away from home in 1918.

The memorial room was built in 1984 and is divided into three parts, displaying more than 100 physical exhibits from Li Shutong's lifetime.

Li Shutong, a native of Pinghu, Zhejiang, was born in Tianjin in 1880 and studied in Japan in 1905. After returning to China, he taught art, music and other subjects, founded the Liu Chun Society, China's first drama club, and introduced European Western paintings and staff to China.

At the age of 39, he became a monk in Hupao Temple and his Buddhist name was Hongyi. Master is a patriot, a famous art educator, and a Buddhist monk. There is also a Hongyi Tower at the entrance of the memorial room, which was built with the support of Feng Zikai and Master Guangqi of Singapore after the founding of the People's Republic of China.
